Oh, I am so glad that I am not the only one who hurts myself! Pinching the boob in the crop-a-dile makes me go weak at the knees!

2 days ago, I was trying to thread some twine through the holes on my button, but the twine kept unravelling, so clever-me thought that using my piercing tool would push it through easily - which it did - except the piercing tool went up under my fingernail bed about half way along the nail! I am sure that I passed out for a few seconds with the pain! And it still hurts and I can see the line where it went!

It also hurts alot to knock your Cuttlebug A plate from the table onto your toes - I have done this so many times! Eeek! And burnt my fingers/arm touching the heat-gun after I have just used it. My DH says I have inherited the "clumsy gene" as I am always bumping, tripping, hurting myself etc. Don't even ask me about the time I superglued my finger to the kitchen bench.....yes, I really did!! Superglue and I are a dangerous combination LOL!!

I'm right there with you!!! I've burned myself so many times; hot glue gun, heat tool, iron (still thinking about a tattoo to cover THOSE up!) And I superglued my fingers together late one night - before there were 24-hour stores, mind you, and had NO acetone to try to melt it.....that was fun, trying to drive with 2 fingers stuck together!

I should take the advice of the lady who said she kept band-aids in the kitchen as well as the bathroom; the kitchen seems to be where I injure myself the most-thanks for the tip!!

I'm staying away from my Crop a Dial. One of my craft knives is stored in a tube and when I got it out the top was missing and it fell out point first into my hand. Ouch. I once was cross stitching in the car and dropped the needle and as I wiggled around trying to find it, it jammed up under my toenail. Lots of blood but no real damage. Maybe I should sell the Crop a Dial.

I, too, am a victim of the Crop-A-Dile. I manage to begin squishing my boob, adjust the tool, then try to crimp my finger in the eyelet part while I'm using the hole punch. Almost every. Single. Time. (Tho it's not insanity, because I do not expect different results ;) )

Be careful about feeding too thick of a "sandwich" through your Cuttlebug. My hand slipped off the handle and it recoiled, hitting my wrist right on the bone. That one almost brought tears to my eyes and left a huge knot & bruise.
I'm sure you have all seen or heard the mammogram training jokes....smashing your boob in the refrigerator door, toilet seat, etc. I'm seeing the Cropadile added to that!

I too have received a free mammogram ( or two, ok maybe three ) compliments of my Crop a Dile. I have also burn my inner thigh because I tried to rest my hot heat gun on my lap. Also lost a nail on my big toe because I dropped a Big Shot plate on my toe. I'm a country girl at heart and hardly ever wear shoes in the house.

Thanks ladies. You've helped me come to a decision about purchasing the crop a dile! Have you ever watched Funniest Home Video's? Just when that painful thing is about to happen I squeeze my eyes closed tight! Well, my eyes were a squeezing all through this post!!! The biggest injury I've had so far is the heating tool burning me. Almost dropped a heavy punch on my bare piggies the other night, but moved just in the knick of time! You are all sooo funny but they say smile through the pain!

Remember the old style lever punch for Quickutz dies before they developed the Revolution? I used it so much that I developed bone spurs at the base of my thumb ( the meaty part) and arthritis that I had to have surgery to remove it.

I was cleaning out my scrap room, and was up on a stepstool hitting the high shelves. Lost my balance, fell backwards, but luckily a large pile of magazines kind of broke my fall. Only had a few bruises, I was lucky.
