I am looking for advice...I have the CM punches in various shapes and sizes. I am interested in the square and circle punches from SU. What I am wondering is if SU's punches reach farther onto the paper? CM's punches can't really do the "window" thing very well, but I see that alot of SU cards seem to be able to reach onto the paper farther. Is this so? Or, are people using a knife to cut these squares on their paper? Thanks!
My SU ones reach MUCH farther than the CM ones do.
I also like the fact that the SU ones can be done by squeezing your hand-it doesn't have to be pushed down.
They are hands down the easiest punches I have ever used!

I also agree with Britta. I have both the SU and CM punches. The SU are much easier to use and have a much further reach allowing those cool window cards! HTH

I got my first SU! punch yesterday...a 1 1/4" circle. It's wonderfully easy to use, and does reach farther, but I wasn't prepared for how big it is! My other circle punches are no bigger than a couple of inches, but this one is about 5 inches long! It's a good thing I don't have storage issues!

Today I just punched windows in the front panel of 250 wedding invitations!
My arm and hands were no where near being tired or sore after the punching AT ALL!!!! And I got perfect punches every time. They are well worth the $$$. I'll never use any other brand.
I don't own SU punches yet, however, I was at SU! class where one of our projects was to use the punch. I found it very hard to get a perfect punch. Mine ended up to be crooked. How do you get it to be aligned? I think they should redesign their punches and make them clear, not black. I also heard some probelms of the punches not being crisp enough.
If you turn the punch over, you can see where it will punch. Otherwise, you can use the back wall of the punch as an alignment guide. I find turning it over to be the easiest for any punch I have.
