Hi all,
I will be signing up with Stampin Up! on Monday and I can't get in touch with my to be upline and I have some questions. Please help. I can't decide between the Pun Fun and the Fun & Fast Notes. Both are just so darn cute. Which one do you recommend? If you have both sets which one do you use the most? Also, what is the difference between Stampin Up!'s Clear embossing powder and the Heat and Set powder. I ask because I am interested in applying ink (to add color to my naked chipboard) and glitter to chipboard and was wondering what's the best one to use. Any suggestions. Thanks.

I agree with Valerie... Fun and Fast notes gives a few more specific greetings (baby, Christmas) than Pun Fun... and there are some people I know I never could send a "punny" card to.. they just wouldn't appreciate the humor. But I don't know anyone I couldn't use Fun and Fast for. What is the other 30.95 set you are looking at? (I'm toying with re-signing-up with the special they have now and just looking at my options)
you DO know that you get a free set as well (up to $47.95--- FINALLY I could justify Define Your Life) AND that the kit is discounted 20% right now.
I think pun fun is cuter...I would use that for more for young kids.
Heat and stick powder is clear embossing powder with 'glue' in it. You apply craft ink, pour on the heat & stick, slightly heat, pour on the glitter, then heat a little more to get full glitter coverage. Regular clear embossing powder is used on colored craft ink to give it the embosse 'slick' look.

Thanks everyone for the advice and the info on the different powders. I was leaning more towards the Fast & Fun stamp set and I'll go with that one. My other $30 choice will be the Pick A Petal stamp set. I have been eyeballing that set ever since its debut and now I'll finally have it. For my free $48 set I will be chosing Three for You set. Thanks everyone.

Can you get the 3 for you punch box as your stamp set choice? I thought it was "rubber only"?? Curious as I'm going to sign up too... that 20% discount pushed me over the edge!
I would pick Pun Fun. Because, it is a new item in the spring/summer catty SU has guarenteed that it will be around for at least a year whereas Fast n Fun notes could retire in June.
Great question---I had Pun Fun on my list, but this feedback certainly gives me something to think about! I agree that it is good for kids, but lots of people like a good laugh!
