Nichole had originally said that if things didn't work out on the original date, that they would try again after the release, so I was shocked to find out that they were doing it now. I'm sure they are extremely nervous!

I couldn't beleive it either when she posted that they were going to transition on Thursday when the release is Friday night! Brave girls!! I sure hope all goes well for them and us. ;) When I'm ready for some PTI, nothing better stand in my way!
"Website & forum update (7pmEST)
More expansive repairs were needed for the server than originally anticipated and the website had to be temporarily removed. We are very optimistic that all will be up and running again by 10pm EST.
Go read Nicole's blog now (9pm) as she graciously answers questions about why they are updating now and why all purchases made will count toward your anniversary sets. Oh well, now you'll just have to find some other company to whom you can write nasty notes.
Hmm. I'm in the store. It's already like six times more complicated to navigate. Searching doesn't bring me product results, and there are far too many extra steps to get to the dang ribbon I want.
Super surprised that the color filter isn't by PTI's exclusive color names.
Surprised there isn't a view all option so I don't have to sort five pages of ribbon to get what I want.
It's been super slow for me (since everybody and their brothers is on it playing around like me!) so I can't tell if it's returning correct results or not but I'm thrilled with the possibility of searching under the designer. So many times, I knew who designed a set but didn't know what category it fell under or what it's name was or when it was released. I've always wanted a "designed by" type of category for searching. Hope the bugs get worked out sooner rather than later because I can't wait to look around more!
If anyone can locate A2 white envelopes please let me know! There are two categories for basic envelopes .. one (30) and one (40) ... and they both say "square" envelopes.
I believe they used to be packaged in quantities of 40, so I'm thinking that may be the right one.
I like what I see so far & know that they are still working on getting all the little things to work correctly. I think it will take a little practice to navigate it, but am willing to give it a chance. I'm happy they have listened to their customers about upgrading their site so it works better.
Going to take some getting used to, that's for sure. Response time is a killer. It took me more than a half hour to put two ink pads, a Palette Noir reinker, and a die into my cart. I have confidence that they'll improve the response time.
Can anyone tell me how to find the forum from the home page?
The site is pretty to look at but there's gonna be a learning curve for sure. Seems like it's more steps to get to the specific product you want unless you're a "buy it all" type of shopper. There has to be a faster way to navigate through their product inventory. On the bright side, the site is up and running.
it is slow right now as all of the files are cacheing in the new server. Thats why they need everyone to shop as much and click on what they can so it can speed up and test as well.
Envelopes are the 40 pack. The 30 pack I tried and it puts a blank pic in your cart, so I think it is an error. The 30 pack also has no price, but the 40 pack does.
Gallery link doesnt work. The top nav button is programed to go to the home page, not gallery, but when I manually typed what I assume is the correct path in the address bar, it doesnt go there. They may have turned off the gallery to work through kinks, favoring getting the storefront working in time for tomorrow.
I requested a new password, as per Nichole's instructions, and have yet to receive it. Why in the world would PTI launch a new site the night before a release!?!?!?
Regarding the password- do you have more than 1 email address? I thought my password would have been sent to the email address I always used when ordering, but found that it went to a different one. HTH!

I would like an "add to cart" button right there with the item, especially for resupply things like cardstock. I think they don't have it because you need the dropdown for which size pack you want, but it would be nice to have those right under the cardstock picture.
Of course, I was doing this when it was slow yesterday evening LOL!! Now that it's fast, it's not a big issue.
I thought it was cool that in my account info it had how long I've been a customer. . . or maybe member. Maybe it's the date I registered on the forum. But still. . . that was neat.

Agreed ... there's not enough contrast. The combo looks great on paper but is really hard on the eyes. Unless, they are trying to encourage us to spend less time on-line? LOL
Has anyone tried visiting the site/forum using a PDA (iPhone, iPod, or Blackberry)? The forum & gallery buttons on the main tool bar are missing when I use my PDA. I wonder if their techies know this? :?
