I logged in with my username and password from the old forum. It had all my info on my account (except my order history).
When I first tried to set up a new account it said my email was already in use so I figured I should just use the old info.

I tried, since that was what she mentioned. It gave me a message that my user ID was already in use & my email was already registered. So, I tried just logging in with those and it accepted that.
okay - I think that everyone must have caused it to crash already. It won't load for me. I guess we're all a wee bit impatient. I'll have to wait until later tonight to try again.

Well, Nichole did say in her blog that they wanted us to visit so they could make sure it was ready for the traffic levels of release night. Better they get the kinks worked out today than be surprised tomorrow night at midnight!

The site has gone live, but you will notice that it's extremely slow at the moment because of some additional work & fine-tuning that needed to be done with the server. We are anticipating it to be back up to full throttle around 8 or 9pm EST.

oh dear, I deleted all of my cookies and cache and just about everything else, and still no website loading. grr- can you tell I am an addict and am starting to withdraw???
I can't get in either and I want to post a question because I've already bought 10 sets since 2/15. I want to know if those are going to count towards my free anniversary set because if not I'm going to be very upset. (just going off what was posted on Nichole's page about having to be registered to have them count).

I've been suffering withdrawal symptoms since the forum went down. I don't even post that much - just like to pop in and see what's going on. I have a big order I want to put back in my cart.
I'm kind of surprised they went ahead with the change so close to release night. I was under the impression they would wait until after the new release if the switch didn't go according to plan a few days ago.
I suspect a lot of problems will cause a lot of frustration for tonight's potential customers. I plan to wait until the release night buzz has worn off. If I have to hit the 'submit order' button again only to find out half of the items I want are OOS, I think I'll throw my laptop at the wall, LOL!
I've purchased over 12 sets since 2/15 so if they don't count I will definintely be firing off a nasty letter. There have already been a couple of false advertising items that have irritated me lately but this would push me over the edge of boycotting PTI.
I'm sorry you feel negative toward PTI! It's my favorite forum, and they are my favorite products!!
Obviously the site will be new so I can't give you a link, but historically any set bought from 2/15 on counts toward that year's set; and that is what the information posted so far this year says!! So, you should be all set!

I'm right there with you! I've bought 10 sets in the past 6 weeks and didn't know we had to 'register' to be eligible for the anniversary set. Wish they could've posted that somewhere before now.

This is something new. I'm pretty sure they have a solution for this as this applies to all their customers.
I'm sure that PTI will honor the sets that have been purchased between February and now. I'm just curious, but what other 'false advertising' are you referring to? I {heart} PTI and am super excited to see the new site!!!

Can you link me to what is on her blog about 'registering?' The mailing out of the free set(s) has always been automatic- you don't do anything to make it happen. But again, I can always be wrong, so give us a link to where you saw it on her site and I will peruse it carefully!
ETA: I will say I have not been able to get into the new site, but since you said 'Nicholes blog', I must have missed it there-
Never mind, I see it now. PTI has always done right by me when it comes to anniversary sets, I have all the confidence in the world they will send me the anniversary sets I earned.
The site won't load for me either at this time, but I see that there is some fine tuning going on so I'll try again later. I hope they have a way to coordinate the purchases since 2-15 with the new site since I've already purchased 9 sets since then.
I can't get anywhere near their site. How frustrating. Having just launched a major new website at work last week, after weeks of live testing, I would never launch so close to a new product release. Call me a pessimist but I predict problems. I hope not because I have a large order to place. Good luck PTI.
