The whole forum situation was frustrating tonight--but I feel like we already had a fun 2-week release party, with lots of extra posting in the forum--and all afternoon and evening even---so I feel like I had a good release party anyway.

Well, I was able to get the Fillable Frames die and the butterfly die, as well as the two impressions plates and the medium and large scallop border dies. No error messages, no glitches. Now, fingers crossed I actually get what's on my invoice!

I was able to put one in my cart but got a message in checkout that the item was unavailable. So if you weren't stopped in the process, you should be OK.

I used Paypal as well. The die was in my cart and when I went to finalize, I got a notice saying that the Fillable Frames die was not available. It automatically took it out of my cart. So, I just placed the rest of my order and will stalk the site waiting for it to come back in stock.

Mmmm...I wonder if I am getting the Butterfly die now too. It too is on my invoice but I don't know the time I placed the order. Paid with Paypal the only way to go! No need to remember a number. Well, just my password! I hope to see everyone at the Blog Hop this month.

I never order on release night and I'm really glad that this time I did. I also didn't get the Fillable Frame die before they sold out -- I quickly pressed submit before anything else sold out. I also wanted to get some older items but they were not in stock -- tea dye duo, ultra clean and the scrubber. It just gives me more things to order next time and a reason to order sooner than I usually would

Well, DH will be glad that the "PTI bill" is less this time around. By the time I finally got my order to finalize, all of the dies were sold out. :( Oh well. Time for the 'after party'? ;)

Just posted on the PTI forum! Seems lots of orders did not make it through with everyone's wishes. I suggested that the Colorado stampers get together on day and Utah stampers are welcome too.

Have a good night everyone!

The butterfly die was sold out but I am glad I was able to get the egg die. I need the egg die for Easter -- I can wait on the butterfly.

Man...I'd love to attend. I doubt I'd be able to get away from the kiddos though! I can barely manage one night a week when DH watches the kids so I can go to Weight Watchers. Even that doesn't happen sometimes!

I just hit the send button this morning on my first order for PTI stamps! I can't wait to get them. I have a couple questions for the veterans........How long do I have to be patient waiting for my order after a big release LOL!!!!!! And secondly, I didn't order any ink. Can I use momento or marvy maybe? I have all the SU colors and really don't want to start another whole family of ink. I thought I read on here somewhere that SU doesn't work great with PTI stamps? TIA!!

An order on a big release night will take longer, but I suspect that you will have your stamps within a week or so.

I am very happy with my SU inks with clear stamps; however, Memento is my favorite. Don't give up. There are several posts on PTI Design Team blogs about using the stamps to get good coverage. I believe Heather Nichols Pine is Here blog has a picture by picture tutorial on how to get good coverage.

Good luck!

Congrats on your first order! When my order is not on a new release night, it usually is shipped the next business day. With a new release, it may take an additional 2-3 business days to get out the door. One thing to remember, you won't always get an email shipping notice. If you do get one, it seems that it is generated when the order is processed for packing, not when the package is actually picked up by the PO or UPS.

I have all the SU ink, as well as PTI. I use both on the PTI stamps with no problem, and while they aren't an exact match, they coordinate with no problem. Some people rub an eraser gently over new clear stamps to remove any leftover residue, but I've never had to do that.

The PTI forum on their web page will have lots more information. This is an exciting time for them. The company is growing by leaps and bounds. There is supposed to be a new store and gallery, with lots of improvements, and as you have probably seen they are introducing lots of new products.

Enjoy your new goodies!

I agree with the others, you may wait a bit longer at a the time of a big release, but you probably won't wait too long.

I use all kinds of inks with my photopolymer stamps, including Memento and SU. If you haven't tried Versamagic, I encourage you to give it a go. You can buy the little dewdrop ink pad(s), too, which are wonderful to work with. The shape makes it easy to only ink part of the stamp, too. They are fabulous inks.

I've purchased many of the PTI ink pads and the degree to which they give good coverage and are true to the PTI color varies greatly. Now that they are reformulating the inks, I won't go into specific colors because that could be irrelevant ~ you wouldn't necessarily get what I have now. I will say that the Fresh Snow, Vintage Cream, and the Tea Dye duo of Chai and Chamomile are terrific additions to my inks.

Enjoy Papertrey .

I was figuring it would take longer than normal due to all the excitement about all the new stuff. I'm just so excited to try them!
