YAH!! I was sitting by the computer - going back and forth on whether to place an order when it went live..........so many cute things this month - when lo and behold I hit the reload button at midnight (est) and what appears but MY NAME as the winner of the new release package!!!!! I am still in shock! PTI goodies are great, good quality, great customer service and very generous with their contests each month!!!! Now I will have to sit patiently waiting for my goodies to arrive!!! I was over on the forum and they were having problems getting in and seeing the new goodies - but that just shows how us serious stampers can crash a server! LOL
just placed my first order for PTI stamps...i adore the flower of the month sets (not entirely sure what they are called) and had to order a few sets! never having ordered from PTI before...my fingers are crossed (and likely toes) that i see them soon so i can play!
I spent some time tonight making a couple of halloween cards with the jar set. And as I am sitting here I realized I cut out the jars and I own the jar die DUH, I ended up getting what I wanted last night. Even though the site would not open properly I could still order (how wonderful is that?).

I live in N Wilkesboro, a tiny bit further than "down the road", but it still seems close! My sister used to live in Granite Falls.
I saw you on the PTI forum Friday night - were you able to get everything you wanted?
I was able to, and got an email from PTI Saturday, saying my order was shipping tomorrow (Monday.) Didn't expect that during release week!

SammyStamper, thank you for the hugs. So sorry to hear about your kitty too. Hugs right back at ya! Did you ever get a count on those dies?
Mugsy, thank you. I lost a 13 yo kitty four years ago and still sometimes get choked up. You are right. They are special. Sorry for your loss as well. I take it that is Mugsy in your avatar? He's a cutie!
lorri....i sometimes forget i have the dies too ! some sets have the die stuck on the jewel case with magnetic tape....to make me remember. funny, i use most of the dies, but some i just had to have arent used at all....ie: the dahlia. i think i used the die and stamp once and i forget it has leaves, and i only remember that after fashioning my own leaf !! or looking thru my nestie collection to see what would work. actually, the smallest fish from the fish nestie set works great !! as a leaf. who knew
after ordering the jars and all the fillers so far, i found an old judith jar stamp ! i dont think i ever used it. now dont need it !! duh.
aha....where the apple festival was .....right? i havent been, only lived here two years, but a friend said it was great. have to remember it for next year.
yes, mugsy looked just like my avatar and we still miss him terribly ! he was one of a kind, smart and very curious. we still have his sister xeena, but she doesn't have his spark or personality.
They are only available online through the PTI website. The only brick and mortar store I know of that sells their stamps is the one right by Nichole's house. But they do ship internationally, if you are interested!
Where is this store? just wondering about a road trip!!

Yes, we have the Apple Festival in the fall in downtown North Wilkesboro and Merlefest in the spring at Wilkes Community College. I didn't go to the Apple Festival this year, but I heard that it was one of the largest crowds ever. Lots of fun, and those fried apple pies??? Scrumptious!
And if you love music, you'll need to come to Merlefest next spring!

Nichole lives about an hour from me and Memories in Bloom shut down earlier this year (that's the store that everybody wants to know about in this thread). I remember when we first moved to Kentucky, I was down in Clarksville and went into MIB and saw Nichole there putting up her cards and stamps. This was when PTI just got started. It was pretty cool.
The other day I put everything in my cart...procrastinated in checking out and now the new set of circle dies and the Pine color buttons are sold out...you think I would learn to hit that checkout button a whole lot faster...oh well..just means another order soon.
blessings.
Such a bummer Amber. I've done that too! It took me forever to get one of the beautiful blooms dies...it was always sold out soon after it came back online. Nichole is very good about getting things back in stock quickly so keep checking!
