I would suggest stamping on the shimmery white paper using the stars and swirls jumbo wheel in silver. Layer some silver underneath and mount on black. You could also tie some ribbon or cording vertically around the stars/swirl panel. A torn edge on the stamped panel could also be done.

You might want to look in the gallery and search for "silver wedding" ...then modify one of the cards that you like. For instance, use your stars and swirls wheel in plcace of a floral background and there you go!

P.S. After you click on the gallery page, be sure to use the "Search" that is in bold letters nearer to the top of the page, not the little 'search' box. You will get lots more options, such as 'Search titles only' and 'Contains all words.' And then you will get a lot less extra stuff that doesn't match what you are looking for.

I did some prom invitations last year for a dear friends teenage daughter and her class. Same situation - they wanted to save money, so I did it for cost. The one's I did were black, silver and white. I used a half of an 8.5x11 sheet for the base. I used the stars in one of the mini background sets and the wheel that has a film reel. Their theme was a night with the stars, so these fit nicely. I wish I has kept one. I also used the wrought iron corner punch on two of the corners so the silver and white layers tucked into the black cs. They were very pretty and the kids loved them. Anywho, good luck - I'm sure whatever you make will be great!!
