You girls are hilarious and really brave, I never upload my ugly cards, I bin them.
This oneis the ugliest card I uploaded, but the scan does not show the true horror of this card. It clashes so badly in real life, imagine the roses much more orangey and the red way darker and it still doesn't come anywhere close to how horrid it is! :mrgreen:
I am in process of mounting that set.....I may have just lost interest. :mrgreen:

Ally, While your card has, how shall I say it, an uncomfortable color combination, it is not in the ranks of the truely ugly.

I think JoanB deserves an honorable mention, but I'm sticking with Blubear. Her card haunted me last night as I tried to fall asleep (I would start laughing again everytime I thought about her card and her comment about finally a contest she could win).
What a FUN thread for a Saturday morning! OK, first of all, I really don't think your (Stargirl) card is that bad - at least it's got potential for being reused as a layer (maybe a border? lol). But in my books there's a three-way tie going so far, between Brandy's scribble card, Emily's background with no foreground, and Bluebear's tin foil American beauty rose. hmmm...

If that's the best you can do, you'd better just go home right now. Although, if you'll send me some of that yarny stuff you put on there, I could tie it onto my card and maybe I could beat Bluebear!!!
You're in! I've noticed in looking at these cards that I keep leaning back...like they are gonna reach out and hurt me! Maybe it was that baby card that did it for me! LOL I think we need a special gallery!
When I would mess up as a child (think color outside the lines, smudges, etc..), my gram would say "a blind man would pay a lot of money to see that"... I tell my campers that now when they smudge on a card, etc... but...
Well, for some of these cards, I'm thinking even that wise old saying doesn't work!

I delved into the beginning pags of my gallery and YUCK there are a few nasty ones. This one is REALLY ugly. I was discovering the chalk pastels and obviuosly not very successfully. File this into the what was I thinking category:
Okay... here is my card. eeew! The two-toned embossing powder on the textured cardstock is definitely ugly. :(
BTW... Someone asked if tinfoil ever works. The Tinfoil Card in my gallery came out a bit better.... only because I went for a cutesy design instead of a beautiful rose. :mrgreen:

My vote goes to Bluebear but the runners-up won't be empty handed because they'll have perfect Halloween cards! They can send their ugly cards out next month and scare the pants off people. :-)
