katrs5-your second posting IS pretty bad - very busy etc,
bluebears "no glue" card is UGH - needs a life
danamy's Xmas card is quite nice - not at all ugly
mrikitty's is pretty bad!
Of course, I'm not posting my uglies - especially before I actully found out how to layer and do lots of great techniques. I have improved.

So far, I have to vote Bluebear too, although there are some pretty "HOMELY" cards in here. I have been cracking up here all by myself reading this thread. I made a card that was beyond Ugly, it was hideous. I cracked up everytime I looked at it, so I kept it for a looooooong time, just to remind me not to go there again. I think I threw it away but I think I kept a picture of it for posterity. When I go home tonite (I am suppose to be working) I will look for it.

wow...12 pages later and Bluebear is still winning. I haven't seen anyone else's except the first five and I also still agree...bluebear hands down! No, really bluebear...put your hands down, don't pick up another piece of tin foil and/or sharpies!!! : )
OK! Who was the wiseguy who revived this thread!!!???!!! LOL

Guilty as charged. And sweet Bluebear really already got all the votes before, this was just to have fun looking at them all over again. Poor Sarah has to hear all about her foil specialty again. Sorry, Bluebear!

funny..... I love this thread.
I read some of the comments on my card to dh last week.....very funny stuff! But I'm starting to get a headache ...so maybe I'll peak at some of the other cards again tomorrow....those teapots still haunt me! :p
too funny that this thread is still going. So now that it is I have to add my "ugly" card to the mix.

p.s. beware........ Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I like the comment on this card .... "goofy colors" LOL!

Well, phew! I was beginning to think I'd drudged up a part of history you'd like to leave behind! Bring on the teapots, just leave the foil at home!

Ok, so I looked and looked and I didn't keep the picture of the ugly card. It was truly hideous! Purple (dark)polished stone, Ugly bulky gold mesh ribbon, purple wax and a big purple and gold button! Ah well, it is still burned into my brain. It truly was on par with Blue bear tho.

This one is too cute to be classified as ugly! I need to look back some and find the glue card eveyone is talking about! I love this thread. Haven't laughed this much in a long time.

Okay... here is my card. eeew! The two-toned embossing powder on the textured cardstock is definitely ugly. :(
BTW... Someone asked if tinfoil ever works. The Tinfoil Card in my gallery came out a bit better.... only because I went for a cutesy design instead of a beautiful rose.
Okay the ewww is a contender with stargirls but as for the tinfoil, sorry but it's actually kinda cute!;-)

Looks like you hated it so much you shredded it, and then changed your mind and put it back together!
This thread is cracking me up. I could compete if bothered to post anything - decided after being on the site for a while that I needed to learn from the masters before I could contrbute.
Here's one that I left in my gallery and I leave it there to remind me to never do anything as ugly as this again. I did it for a VSN challenge that was going on. Live & learn...
WOWZA, Katherine! That's a doozy. Very interesting. The way you put that stuff on there. In various places. Around the card. But, "Mine's still uglier than yours!":p
This is so fun!! Now I am ashamed that I have thown all my uglies out instead of sharing!! And I JUST cleaned my stamp room of uglies about 2 weeks ago!!
Bluebear and Stargirl are neck and neck but the tin foil wins!!
And Bluebear -of course we all aspire to be an Ugly Dirty girl just like you!!
Please share the criteria and things that helped you to be where you are today so I too can be asked to join this coveted panel ;)
