Does anyone else use there blog other then posting the makings of a card/scrapbook? I use the gallery here to post how i make the card and then i post just the card on my blog so that my friends/family back east can see it then i post the goings on of the day.. I know i have my link under my siggy here should i take it off since there isnt instructions to the creations? I have it so that ppl can maybe get a look into whats going on other then card making..
Thanks for input
My blog is actually a link from my website. I have nothing stamp related (except a link to scs). Hopefully, when I go home for good, I will be able to do my scrapbooks and post copies of pages on there as well as some cards - but as for now, it is strictly non-stamp/scrapbook related,,,,

my blog is for me- it helps me write/journal more, it inspires me to get in my stamp room more than once a week and to do the challenges - because i want to post my creations... and in addition to my siggy here, i let a few of my customers/friends/family know about it so they can look if they want... i'll write about stamping- posting pics and then anything else going on... thoughts of the day. a lot of people seem to do this- i don't think you need to not list your blog if it isn't 100% stamping related- even this site isn't 100% stamping related! keep it!
i find i like reading blogs about the person more than just tutorials. but i'm nosey like that!

My blog is a personal journal of what I am making. I like having the freedom to be able to write whatever I want about the card, I can put more than I would if I uploaded to a SCS gallery, I still do upload to SCS for the challenges or if I use SU sets, but the more experimental or unusual things I make go on my blog. The challenges also go on my blog, so I can write about the creative process, hopefully it's funny too.
Only once did I write about my family on my blog and it was a one-time thing.
i have a "blog" of sorts on myspace, and it's used to keep family and friends up-to-date with my life, and my music, and includes the occasionaly tirade. ;)

My blog is a little of everything. When I post a card it depends on the card as to whether I post how I made it but I normally put a list of supplies either way. Occasionally I will post about the goings on of my day but that is mainly for my DH to see what's going on here with me.

Mine contains a little bit of everything. It started out as a strictly personal thing to keep in touch with family and friends, since they're all over the world. Now it's turning into more of a mix of personal stuff and a place to offer free wishblade files.

My blog is only a few weeks old and I started it because I thought it would be fun to see if I could learn some technology "stuff". Each time I play around with it, I learn something new. I am by no means as savvy as some of the others out there (like I wouldn't even know how to do "blog candy" - I didn't even know what that was until last week)! I am just trying to keep up with the latest (I'm afraid though by the time I learn, it will be old news)!
mine is mostly card/scrapbook/misc. craft related - with a few tidbits thrown in here and there...no one from my family views it and few of my friends view it...I do it because I enjoy being able to go into more detail on the creation of my creations than the SCS gallery will allow...it also allows me to record my progress as a stamper...I was a little uncertain about it at first, but now I really enjoy it...I hope to be able to provide more tutorials, tips, etc in the future as I try to become more organized!!!
I think mine is a good combination of both. And I do it for me. I'm sharing whether people like it or not! I share my design team stuff, my own "down time" creations, as well as family milestones, and even chatty stuff. I think it is cool, anyway!
I post more than just cards on my blog -- photography, writing, other craft projects, as well as some fun and personal stuff. Lately I have been participating Thursday Thirteen and having fun coming up with my weekly lists.

My blog is for cards that I have made. But I also talk about products that I buy that are stamp/scrapbooking related, pictures that I take some are not craft related. I have lots of blogs and web sites listed all having to do with stamping, scrapping and photography sites. I like to have a lot of interesting things on my blog.
I use my blog to share stories (like the recent one I posted of how my husband and I met 29 years ago!), to share menu plans and recipes, to post some of my papercraft creations and to share truths that I've learned (and am still learning) along life's journey.
It's a wonderful creative outlet for me. I also love to read others' blogs and get a peek into their lives!
My blog is mostly my designs and instructions on how to make them. Adding in a few tutorials, a few tips, a little about me and my family, a few recipes. I guess I just like sharing with whoever wants to come and visit.

My blog is mainly Stamping related. I do explain how I amde the card, and what my inspiration was.....yadayadayada. I do throw tidbits about my family since so many on here are closely involved in it after Alexa was diagnosed. People always comment they like reading updates on her. I do have a seperate section for "family stuff" but like I said Its mostly stamping related.
Mine is cause I didn't want to be left out of all the fun! And now I have a place when all those people say "where is you website?" and I want to see your work. For me the writing of my everyday life is the most important part of my blog. Sharing my craft is an extra!
Shameless showing off of my wonderful creations (yes, I love myself), celebrating Shelli Gardner (may she live forever) and the cult of Stampin' Up!, informing people of the deadly diseases associated with stamping (swapitis, glittertosis, etc.) and occasionally venting about the merits of different mops or the habits of husbands and children...that's what my blog is all about.
My blog is strickly about Stamping and Scrapbooking. I show techniques, new products and tool demos. I have a video as the main part, and the blog gives you links and intsuctions as to what I showed in the video. I also host numerous contests! I try to show some new products you may not have come across and tools that make more sense once they are demonstrated. Or give you new ways to use something you've had for a while. Please check it out!
I just started my blog about 4 days ago...and I absolutely love it....I started it just cause I wanted too, and then I decided to use it as a resource for my customers, but I also plan to use it for myself too and talk about stuff that is non stamping related as well. I enjoy looking at everyone's blogs too.

My blog is like a "show & tell" of all the different things I make with the occasional family photo thrown in. I don't often explain the step by step because I figure there are enough other tutorials out there. Once in awhile I will recommend a product I like, etc. Most of my posts are stamping related.
