Do I need this set??? I love the cute cards made with it in the gallery.....Sometimes I wonder if I have too many flower sets but then I don't have any funky ones like this one......Definately cute!!!
So what do you all think? Everyone who bought it still like it? Or is it something I should live without and just wait to see what is in the new spring mini?

Not if you have Love Without End set. Just dot the flowers with a Signo white pen and you have the same look! This set is very cheap on ebay. Got mine for $2.03 plus $2 shipping!
I had no intentions of liking it, but I ended up inexplicably drawn to it. After having it a while now, I'm surprised how often I'm reaching for it. Its really more versatile than I thought it would be.

I love this set too --but my friend (& demo) has it so she said I could just borrow hers. I've been buying so much lately I had to put a stop to it. I know I'll end up regretting not getting it, so if you are able to do so GET IT!!!!
I say get it! I told myself I didn't need it, since I have so many other flower sets, including Buds and Blossoms which is very similar. I am so glad I bought it! I really do love it.

To me - totally different flowers and stamps to go with them are different too. I have Love w/o end and I will get the Polka dot one too!

I did some research on Ebay and the past sales of polka dot posies...you and I both know what you said is not true! That set goes for $18-$22 on ebay. So perhaps you meant $22.03!

I don't think these stamp sets look anything alike.... I'd got for the Polka Dot Posie... it looks awesome. You will NOT get the same effect if you try to use a jelly pen.

I, too, have been going back and forth on this set. It is not one of the sets I was initially drawn to in the mini but I did see some cute stuff here using it, of course.
However, since I have a ton of sets already, I have started thinking over my stamp purchases carefully. I have to weigh whether I think the cards are cute and that's what's making me want the set or if I like the set itself, KWIM? In the case of Polka-Dot Posies, I like the cards but I doubt I would reach for the set itself much after using it a few times. So I opted not to buy it.
Love Without End is a great set but it is a totally different flower, IMO.

I think she meant she bought Love Without End on *bay for $2.03, plus shipping, not Polka Dot Posies.
That said, I have both and really prefer Polka Dot Posies. I use them both, but for different types of cards. I like all the center pieces that come with PDP. That way I can make the flowers 2 or 3 different colors without having to use markers. I have done a few image swaps using this set(PDP) and everyone commented that those were their favorites. It is just such a happy set. I really like the sentiment that comes with it also.
I have been inspired by this post and looking at the gallery with this set. I have not seen a summer mini. Can one of you please tell me how much it costs in USD so that I can decide if I want to contact my demo to purchase it or not. Thanks.

I know exactly what you mean! I have other flower sets and just purchased Bodacious Bouquet. Now I'm thinking that I better get Bud Basics and Polka Dot Posies before the Summer Mini is retired! :p
