Please someone invent an ink eraser!!!!

I've done this too many times! I worked so hard on a sample card for my portfolio and I was almost finished, went to stamp the sentiment and I rocked the exclamation point and caught the edge. Totally ruined the whole card. I know there is "no ruining in stamping, just embellishment opportunities" but in this case, embellishing it in that space will ruin the look. Agh! I wish someone would invent and eraser that worked on stamp ink!!! A million dollar idea for anyone who wants it. Thanks for letting me vent!

I know exactly what you mean. I've done the same thing many, many times. It's so frustrating.

BTW, I LOVE your avatar!

If you have stamped on white with your sentiment, you can "carefully" dot a little bleach on the area. Most times it will fade. You must use very little bleach though or you get a yellow looking spot. Sometimes it works and sometimes not but it is better than throwing the whole thing away!

Unfortunately, it's pink gingham paper. I might try a pink marker and white out - hope I don't make it worse. OMG! I just noticed that I did the whole freakin' card upside down anyway! Guess I'll pull what layers I can and start over. I think I need to take a chocolate break!

There actually is a pen for that. I bought one a couple of years ago, and I just came upon it last night in my pen drawer (forgot I had it). It really does a pretty good job if it's a smudge or small mistake. I remember it says "Eraser Pen" and it's all white.

Try re-stamping the message on a scrap co-ordinating sheet of paper (maybe even try matting that as well to add a little extra), then paste on top of the "mistake". Works like a charm and you'll be the only one that knows your goof-up!

I need one of those pens too. My problem is I drop the stamp just as I'm picking it up!
