The picture didn't really come out that well. It was late last night that I took it and very tired. It's actually more like a neon green and brilliant blue. it definitely looks less bright in the pictures.
I'm suggesting more "martini" colors - that is, go with a white cardstock, black ink , and then put a very olive colored circle in the glass, with a smaller red circle as the pimento in the olive. Could be very cute to have extra olives as you have circle attached. It looks like you have a circle punch pretty close to olive size.
Keep it graphically simple and it will be easier to repeat invitation after invitation.
I also saw a very cute martini invitation where the triangle part of the glass was cut out and a transparency stuck to the back with sparkly round confetti - for bubbles in the glass.

Hmm...I'll have to think about this b/c now it's going in a completely different direction...My MIL originally suggested doing something w/ movie reels and stuff like that for the theme and a summer green w/ navy. I definitely have to get this nailed down ASAP b/c we have to get them out soon. But I LOVE the martini stamp! I found some really cute martini paper & vellum too. ARgh!
You don't know how much your compliments mean to me. I've been having such a bad week (and it's only Tue!) and this really cheered me up. Thanks again!
So, after MIL & I made 20 invites, we got a call from BIL that the shower guest increased from 30 to 60 people! MIL is going to buy (gasp) invites since we're not going to have time to make more this week. Plus, I've run out of supplies!

For sure - save one of the good ones for a scrapbook - and think how lucky some of the guests are who get the one you made!
