Just wondering how many of us stampers on here are from Northern Virginia??? I am from the Winchester area and I am looking for some gals to start a monthly stampin club.

Not from Northern VA but I'm in Williamsburg. We've been to a couple shoebox swaps in NoVA and we're having one here in Williamsburg on July 14th... Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Some very good friends of ours are moving to Winchester, too!
I'm in Bristow, VA. Totally new to all of this, though! I'm just getting my first stamps and supplies this week! Can't wait to get started!!!
Sadly, I'm not in VA, but sure would like to be! My family (parents, one brother and a married sister (+ her family)) live in Lynchburg. The reason I quoted the above post is because my maiden name is Bristow. I'll be out there to visit in August...we'll be visiting Williamsburg, I believe. Any good stamp stores out there? ;)
Joan, the stamp store you are thinking of is Stampin' Memories. I go there every year when we are vacationing down there, I even have a frequent buyer card that I am trying so hard to fill up!

Hi! I'm in Stafford, but I grew up in Winchester. Good luck getting a group going. We got one going for awhile in the Stafford area, but we have fissled due to everyone's busy schedule. Our local library sets aside a room on Wednesday mornings for stampers to come and work on their projects. I've met some incredible people/stampers at this weekly gathering and learned a lot from them. Maybe you could get something started like that at the Handley library. Good luck! By the way are there any good stamp stores in Winchester? I go back and visit my family on a regular basis, but they aren't stampers.

I want to start a once a month club meeting starting in Sept. We would meet at the Bowman Library in Stephens City. Please let me know who all is interested so I can talk to the library about what size room we need and if there is a fee. I know you can get small rooms that fit 4 for free but I dont know about the larger rooms.
Also I am having a stampin up workshop on Tuesday July 3 if anyone is interested. We will be using the stamp sets zoofari and baroque motifs

Thanks for the name of the store...I'll have to figure out a way to sneak away and check it out!
I'm in stafford and belong to a month hostess club with my SU demonstration. I also scrapbook and try to get together weekly with a group of friends for that - slacking off a bit during the summer with vacations and everyones kids home.
Hi there! I am in the Fort Belvoir area. How did your SU workshop go? I just found this thread but wanted to say hello. Let me know what the details are on a stamping club. I have my hands full over the summer with the kiddos on break and traveling but I would love to be in on the loop!
I used to live in Winchester and work in Front Royal (say it fast and it sounds like Fruit Roll, so we call it Fruit Roll-hehe) Good luck getting a group going.
