Default Planner bloggers / inspiration

Does anyone else here blog about planners and papercrafting? I am looking for more inspiration for using my stamps and such in my planner. I just switched in my new The Happy Planner.

I find a lot of inspiration on Instagram. You can search by hashtags containing planner in them. I think more people are using Instagram then blogs these days because it's so much easier to share photos quickly. And I know for me personally that reading through ad filled blogs can sometimes be frustrating. So Instagram is a cleaner way to find inspiration for me.

You can also search youtube for videos. There are a lot of them out there.

Have fun with your Happy Planner. I've been using one for a while now and I like it.

Yep, I find lots of beautiful pics on Pinterest and Instagram, but they both lean heavily towards here are stickers I bought, washi, etc as opposed to here is how I am using my papercrafting supplies to make x, y, z. You find that occasionally, but I was hoping to find more bloggers that maybe talked about that more.

But, I do find all the pretty planners on both places inspiring.

If you're looking for some stamping inspiration for your planner, check out the blog at Studio L2e. They have tons of products specifically for planners, and the blog showcasing their design team is wonderful. I always marvel at how creative those girls are with stamps that are mostly just text and boxes!

I'm not sure I get this. I use a planner that is purchased completely formed with a nice quote on every other page, printed with soft pictures that one can write over, places for notes and a space to write appointments etc. I looked at all the cool stamps people have suggested, but can't imagine using them. Who has time to get out the tooth stamp, stamp it on the correct day, with down the time and then clean the stamp? Wouldn't it be easier/faster to just jot down "dentist" and the time on the correct date? I could see stickers being faster, but since I keep mine with me, constantly writing things, I may not have all those stickers with me, or the time to look through them at the time. I thought at first I would make my own planner from scratch, but the majority of the stamps look to be for recording purposes, with a few for the basic book. I have a nice leather case for mine that I keep money, charge cards, license etc. so it doubles for a wallet. The "insides" are wire bound and can be slipped in and out at the change of a year. Guess I'll stick with my store bought style and use my stamps for creating other things.

I don't decorate everything. I tend to add some general things to my planner, and then use fun marker for my quick added items.

Here is an example of something practical I made for my planner.

Default Planner I Made

I made a spiral organizer using cardboard, scrapbooking paper, and Mod Podge. Here's a tutorial on how I created it.
