Default Pink TicTacs?

I looked all over town yesterday for some of the Pink (Breast Cancer Awareness) TicTacs and couldn't find any, although I found some on the internet.

I'd prefer to purchase them locally, thereby avoiding s/h costs....has anyone seen them at national chains? I live in central California.

I'd love to purchase some....any ideas?

Thanks,
Kat

I saw some the other day at Fred Meyer's (aka Kroger's), if that helps any.

Thanks, Betsy. We don't have Fred Meyer's or Kroger's here where I live, but maybe that's where I saw them....we were in Oregon over Labor Day to see kids/grandkids, and they have Fred Meyer's.

I found a supplier online that had pretty good prices on the TicTacs themselves....shipping is outrageous, but oh well! I'm still hoping to buy some locally, but I purchased 24 so I can get a head start on the cute "Save the TaTa's" covers.

Thanks again!
Kat

I don't know if you have Target or Wal-Mart where you live, but I have seen them at both stores in the past couple weeks.
Good luck in your search!

I'm in Southern CA and think I saw them in either Target or Bed, Bath & Beyond.

Hi Kat - I live just northeast of Sacramento, and I saw the pink Tic Tacs in Raley's yesterday, but they were $1.19 per pack! I'm going to try to find them cheaper somewhere else.

UPDATE: I found them fairly reasonable online at ItsAllDirect2u.com - Your one stop candy store! - Search

$14.54 for 12, plus shipping. Hated having to do that, but I also bought some lime green sixlets for Grinch pills (which I couldn't find either), so I figure if it costs me a quarter tank of gas running around town looking for them, I'm about even.

Of course, that was before I saw the post about Savemart (we don't have a Raley's, unfortunately).....we DO have a Savemart, I think, up on the NW part of town. If these work out, I'll probably head up there to check it out. Even at $1.09, it's a little better than online.

I figure I'll have to price the finished product at about $3, but friends who are into the Pink ribbon stuff say folks are usually willing to pay a little more when they know the proceeds are going to the Cure. And I've committed to donating $1 for each pink TicTac "Save the TaTa's" pkg sold to breast cancer research.

ALSO, my son is a warehouse supervisor at Target and he told me he'd keep his eyes open for the pink TTs.....

Thanks for the leads ~ all this info has been very helpful! Keep 'em coming!!
Kat

I was going to suggest calling the company directly and asking them to find a store for you. (I have done this with Brachs.) However, they don't have a phone number, email, or email form on their sites. If you click "contact us," you get a US map with a dot where their home office is. . duuuh!
