It might have been here or it might have been on a blog . . . someone made the cutest picture holder with a salt shaker. She covered the glass portion with layered strips of paper and added a focal point to one side and used wire, coming up through the holes in the shaker top with the ends curled, to hold the pictures. I can't find it again and am looking to figure out what gauge wire she used for the picture holder portion. Everything I have in stock in my stash seems too thin. I tried to use a wire hanger from the dry cleaner but the hanger doesn't produce a long enough piece of wire to make the holder long enough. Perhaps you made this delightful little picture holder? Or perhaps you know the blog where I saw this? Or perhaps you've made one of your own and can answer my question? Thanks in advance!
Hi! I made one and it is adorable! You do have to have the thicker gauge wire because I messed up and got thin at first. I am not near my crafting room now or I would tell you which gauge I got. However, I can tell you I purchase it at Wal Mart in the floral aisle in a long plastic bag. Not the roll. The roll is much too thin!

Thanks Ashley! I just printed a coupon and am off to AC Moore -- now I know just what to look for! They've just redone our Walmart and virtually eliminated the crafting section so I hope they have the same at AC Moore.
