I've been browsing the gallery to find uses for the set other than a flower. Here's what I've been amazed by:
Butterfly
Dragonfly
Lady Bug
Surf Boards
Turkey
Pumpkin
Background stamp
Candle Flames
Lasso
Sum
Balloons
Bunny Ears
Dog Ears
Bee
Mouse
Tree
Leaf
Heart
My demo showed me a "sad face" for a get well soon card. The one petal was his nose, part of the smile stamp was colored with a marker so it looked like a sad mouth, the swirly circle and solid circle was used for eyes with the eraser on a pencil making the pupils. It was SO cute.
Apparently someone created it at convention, didn't put their name on the back to be given credit when the cards were being traded and it was a big hit. Maybe someone who was there can clarify this.
Thanks for the list! I'm in the middle of doing as many "out of the box" cards with Pick a Petal as I can. I also saw one person made an actual carrot, with swirly leaves coming out the top (might have been from the baroque set).

Did I miss any?
Do you have any fall/winter ideas.
Hey, love these ideas but could you post some links???
Guess I'll be moving this one up on the ole wish list.
I've also seen that the petal stamp from this set with polka dots fits great with the cropadile so that you can do dry embossed dots on the petals. Very cute ideas all over!
Glad you posted this thread. Got me thinking about the set. I was worried when I bought it that the petals were too large for a regular sized card. Went to the gallery, and after seeing the ladybugs and turkey cards, occured to me that I could cut down the petals for smaller flowers. A DUH moment.;)
I have an order to place this week for hostess club, and am trying to decide if I should order this now, or wait until I sign up as a demo closer to the end of the month!
I know this thread is a couple weeks old, but I finally got my "think outside the box" card done and uploaded using pick a petal. I did copy someone else's idea (my demo) but it's still fun to make it your own.
