Default Photo printers

Do any of you use a dedicated photo printer and if so what kind? I'm looking at the Epson Picturemate......any feedback on that one?
TIA....Mona

Hi there - I just purchased the Epson Stylus Photo R340 and love it! It prints up to 8.5 x 11 and, although I haven't used it much yet, anything I have printed has been very good! I also love the fact that I don't have to have it hooked up to the computer, I can just insert my memory card, or use the PictBridge connection and do any cropping, etc on the LCD screen.
I'm very happy with it so far...

I have the small PictureMate and really like it. The photos are nice and crisp. I also use my HP printer to print photos that are larger than 4 x 6. HTH

I have the picturemate and have been MOST pleased with the quality of the prints. the paper is also really thick and strong - although for scrapbooking it can make the cropping a little more challenging what a fun toy! the only thing i have noticed is that it does not liked to be moved that much - a little bit is ok, but trips up and down the stairs are not appreciated - simple to fix by realigning the heads/cleaning... but not a big deal once you figure out what the problem is and what is causing it. HTH

I have the picture dock printer that goes with my Kodak. We love it! It puts a thermal laminate over the photo so you get no finger prints and they say the photos will last 75 years.
