Hi everyone, just got my 2 stamp sets from Papertreyinc. Do they stamp ok?
Haven't tried them yet, also do you think they are a little costly, just curious what everyone else thought, they're alot smaller than I thought they were gonna be, just want to hear how happy you are with them? Dana
Well, I just got Green Thumb, yesterday. I haven't tried them out yet, but they seem to be great quality and their presentation is top notch. I think their pricing is comparable in the marketplace - there's a lotta stamps in that set for $25.00! I think they're sized just right for cardmaking, too. If you're comparing them to Michael's $1.00 clear stamps, PaperTrey is a much higher quality, IMO.
I have purchased every set that Papertrey Ink has come out with. They stamp beautifully. I have used both classic dye ink and the fluid chalk ink and they both work equally well. The stamps are the best acrylics I have in my collection and I just love the versatility of them. I am patiently waiting for my Faux Ribbon set to arrive. The presentation and packaging is excellent and far above any other's that I have seen. I love that they provide the CD case to store them in. The price is comparable to sets with this many pieces, but the quality in my opinion is far superior. JMHO

Live in the moment and make it so beautiful it's worth remembering.
My Faux Ribbon and Green Thumb came yesterday. They look lovely. The sets are pretty, nice packaging, a thank you note was enclosed, and the stamps feel like they are quality. Can't wait to give them a try!

Hi Dana! If you've got your wonderful PaperTrey stamps in your hot little hands, the best way to determine how they stamp is to ink 'em up and start stamping!
They are more expensive I suppose, but I'm in the UK and I'm used to paying a fortune for stamps, but they are worth every cent to me. They are so versatile, so easy to use and obviously so much thought went into their design.
I also love the fact they were designed for cardmakers, they fit perfectly on so many things that we have, tabs, circles, ovals. And every set coordinates with the others, so if you have more than one Papertrey set you can mix and match.
I hate getting a stamp set home and then realise they work so much better as a scrapbook set!
PTI is also now carryin the Palette ink pads which are just awesome! The ink stays even on the clear stamps, no pooling or uneven inking...and not little dots of ink that looks like rain drops on a just waxed car. ;)
I also love these! I have all the sets and am anxiously awaiting the new release on May 15th. With mine I've found the chalk ink works really well. You don't need much pressure. A very light touch yields the best image. I'm used to needing alot of pressure with wood mounted rubber stamps. I also think the price is pretty good. The combinations you can make with each set seem endless to me and that makes them worth every penny. Just my opinion. Hope you love yours as much as I love mine!

I think that they are reasonably priced. I also have all of the sets so far and can't wait until the 15th! Although I usually wait and order every other month so I can combine and get free shipping. Plus it gives me a chance to see what all can be done with them before I buy. I am not a big fan of acrylics, but I really like these.
Ok, so you think I'm crazy already, but I have to defend the M's $ stamps. They seem to me to be a nice stamp. They ink up well and I haven't had any problems with them. I like the Paper Tray one's. I have the flower one, and if I use craft inks on them they stamp up well, if I use regular SU pads, I seem to have trouble. I've rubbed on them, just like I've read, but that doesn't seem to help much. Like I said, they do well with craft ink.
I think that the Papertrey sets are great - one of the best ones out there. Great packaging and I have to say great marketing, release a stamp set every 15 to 30 days makes it easy to buy them all

Love, love, love my PaperTrey sets. I have them all , think they are a great quality, and love all the room they save. Just think all the space they would take up if they were mounted stamps! That alone is worth alot to me in my limited space.
Oh wow! Ink those babies up and use them!! I LOVE LOVE Papertrey Ink stamps. I have been stamping for years and these are some of the best stamps I've had my hands on. I use the Classic Dye Ink & the chalk inks and have no problem. I have GREAT even coverage even with the solid butterfly. I've already made 11 cards in the past week with just one set. I've ordered them all and also can't wait until the new release on the 15th.
The packaging was awesome. I wish I would have taken a picture before I tore those things open!!
Have fun with them. You will not regret your purchase. They are very well priced for all that you get. For example the Butterflies set sells for $24 and with the amount of stamps you get it is well worth over $50.
Ditto all the praise above and I have also had great results using the Ranger Distress Inks on them. I got very crisp impressions of the words stamps using the distress inks.
