I placed an order monday and it still doesn't have anything in order status. How long do they take to ship? Do they always send an e-mail letting you know it has shipped? TIA

My experience has been fast shipping, and if you entered an email address I believe you should get an email about when it ships. I'm not certain though. I placed an order at midnight of the release of Little Lady and haven't received any news although I know I entered an email. This time I paid by CC whereas the last order I paid via paypal so that was all automatic notifications. Hmmm.

The new system didn't send out the shipping emails. I just got an email back and I was told all the orders have been shipped. If you didn't have anything on backorder yours must have gone out too. You can drop them an email and ask, they got back to me quick.
I am in the same boat. Regularly order from them and always have my orders in under 48 hours. I ordered right after 9PM on Monday and nothing yet. I will be running home from work today because I just know they will be here for the weekend unless something has happened to the way they ship.
I'm in Canada, so it'll probably be 2 weeks before I get them, I just like knowing when they have shipped so I know when to start getting antsy and worrying!

I just read this thread 30 minutes ago because I was wondering the same thing. I hadn't recieved a shipping notice. Then I saw my mailman go by and guess what! I got mine!! WOOHOO!!
When did you order? I ordered Tuesday, and it was not on backordered and I was charged via PayPal, but no word from a number or from them replying to my e-mail, but my mail is not here yet so HOPEFULLY today or tomorrow. Also, I'm getting two other sets of theirs so I'm really excited. It'll be my first!
If you ordered anything that was on backorder, they wait until your entire order is available before shipping anything. So, since I ordered 2 of the stationary box packs, which weren't available until yesterday due to backorder, I received a shipment confirmation today.
You can probably email them and ask.

Do they keep the order buttons current when you place the order??
I ordered on Wednesday and now I see that Little Lady is on backorder. It wasn't on backorder when I placed my order because I made sure that everything in my cart was available before I purchased it because I didn't want to wait for my stuff to ship together.
EXACTLY the same here. When I ordered on Tues., it was not a backorder button, either, but I have no info and no stamps. I wonder if they put the charges through at that point? I really think they should ship what is in stock, whether you are charged or not. Darn. Double darn.

Why haven't I received a shipping confirmation?
"I know you are all SO excited to get your goodies! Just to avoid any further confusion, we began using a new shipping system that helps us to move faster and for some reason it is not sending out all of the shipping confirmations for USPS shipments. I am not participating directly in the shipping process, but I got a heads up from Julie & Jane that all orders that were placed the first night of our release (Monday night) have been shipped. (ETA: ALL ORDERS HAVE BEEN SHIPPED, with the exception of those that backordered Little Lady) We had over 138 orders placed within just the first 30 minutes of the reveal(!!!), so you can imagine how many packages my partners have boxed and labeled since yesterday!"
How do you know if an item you ordered was out of stock?
"When an item goes on backorder through the Papertrey Ink website, we change the "BUY" button to a "BACKORDER" button. With Little Lady, this occurred Wednesday morning. If you hit a BUY button, then you have no worries and your order is shipping as we speak! If you hit the BACKORDER button, then your order will be shipping out in approximately two-weeks. If you have any additional questions, please don't hessitate to contact our customer service with your order number and we would be happy to help you!"

I know what you mean! I waited to do yesterday's challenge in hopes that I would get the stamps yesterday---DIDN'T happen! And the postman already came today, so I have to use another OLD stamp for today's challenge! WAHHHHHH! Well, maybe I will get them tomorrow in time for VSN?
I ordered Tuesday morning and they got here today :mrgreen: Poor mailman nearly lost a hand when I saw he had a box :twisted:
This is my first set, they're already stained :( I have cheap clear stamps and I can tell this are REALLY good quality, not stretchy at all so is it just all clear stamps will stain? Is there a special cleaner for them that works better?
I know there were question somewhere about storing them on both sides of the case (since they are such big sets) and not having them stick together. What I did was open the case and lay out the stamps on both sides. Then I inked them up with a spot and took a piece of white c/s and pressed it down on all of the stamps at the same time. I did that for both sides. Then I ran that c/s through my Xyron with the laminate/adhesive. I stuck the two pices of c/s together so it's laminated on both sides and the images are stamped on something that I don't have to worry about them sticking to. I like that I can open the case and see what the images looks like stamped.
If you have the double sided laminate you could use that and not have to stick the two pieces of c/s together but I don't have that cartridge and I was afraid I'd get a perfect stamp of all the stamps on the front and then mess up the back and have to start over LOL
I ordered mine Tuesday the moment they appeared on-line, they arrived late Thursday and I had to go out of town yesterday...so they are sitting on my craft table....lonely...waiting for my return. :(
k.. I'm getting a little jealous. I, too, ordered on the first day.. very early. I did however order those card cases which were on backorder (expected in yesterday, I believe).
Can't wait for these to arrive! These will be my first Papertrey stamps.
Darn .... everyone that ordered Tues. has them but me. Poor me. Nothing to stamp with! Just me and piles of lonely ink (HA HA)

If it makes you feel better I can't even stamp with mine. My dad is here for the weekend and I have to go through the guest room/extra living room to get to my studio to stamp. I usually stamp early in the morning or late at night when the kids are in bed or while they nap in the afternoon. I would have to either go through and wake him up or hide out while they nap and DH said that would be rude LOL :( So, no stamping for me either.
I ordered mine early tuesday morning and also sent them a email with a question at the same time and I haven't heard anything back from them at all.
I see payment was charged to my account on thursday so they must be on their way. I live in Canada so I know I'm going to have to be extra patient.
This is the first time ordering from papertrey and I can't wait to get my little ladies.
I ordered mine at 9PM on Monday night. They arrived yesterday. It took 2 days longer than usual but I can't complain. They are every bit worth the wait.
I ordered mine first thing on Tuesday morning, I believe, so I don't think they were on backorder. I was rushing out the door to go to work at the time, so I can't be certain. This is the first time I have ordered from them and I'm very interested to get them in my hot little hands and also to see how long delivery takes. I live in SW Ontario so if they weren't on backorder when I ordered them, I think they should be here sometime this week. I ordered Paper Tray and Little Lady. If I like them, I just might order the Faux Ribbon one too........
