I'm with you there. I do like PTI - but when I place an order - I usually have to wait a week for it to even get shipped. And living in Canada, one really pays a premium for shipping, so it seems like a long time to wait.

When you run into a problem with them, as I have - there is no number to call. They do not answer emails quickly either. I wish they would either get better customer service, or sell their products wholesale to reliable and quick shipping companies - for example - Ellen Hutson's store, Frantic Stamper -etc - the list goes on.

They really do need to get more people working on customer service.

As for the inks - I did order them all with the first formation -and I'm not ordering the inks again. I do like there sets and there buttons, and some of there papers.

Just my 2 cents.

I really appreciate the openness of this forum and the opinions of others especially with regards to products and experiences in buying from particular websites or companies. I think you get a more honest opinion in online forums like this that are unrelated to the company in question.

That said, I agree with you that this (now 5 page) complaint list isn't doing PTI any good, but I promise you they're reading it and they need to. It may not be "constructive criticism" , but I think it clearly points out where their shortcomings currently exist and what they need to improve if they intend to continue to profit.

Message boards are a powerful voice and can't just be ignored when there's negative publicity/attention. Hopefully threads like this will help them focus on specific areas they need to fix so there will be less for their customers to complain about in the future.

As I said before, I love their product and I love to see a small company grow and do as well as they are doing, but I'm not going to just give them a pass because of how far they've come. It's time for them to adjust and accommodate for the growth or take a step back and figure out what's the most important for their bottom line.

Maybe they are reading it and maybe they are working on solutions. But these are not going to be quick overnight solutions. It is going to take more than a snap of the fingers to work these issues out.

In all my time here, I've never seen that work out well for either party. It usually ends in an ugly argument, when each person should really deal with their issues privately with the company. If you have an opinion either way, take a moment to contact customer service! I'm sure they'd be thankful for input on ways they can improve.

A lot of the issues raised in this thread have been raised and addressed by Nichole & Jennifer on the PTI forum. If you aren't satisfied with the info you're getting here, you should check out the other board. In my opinion, when both ladies are working like crazy, you can't expect them to answer the same question on two separate message boards. They aren't ignoring 5 pages of concerns. They are simply addressing them on the message board their company has set up for their (potential) customers benefit and enjoyment.

I'm actually quite thankful and impressed that a company would set up and maintain an open forum board where you can freely (yet respectfully) express your concerns and that the owner personally takes the time to answer our questions.
