I just found another awesome paper crafting mag that is comparable to Paper Crafts mag!! It is called Paper Trends. I discovered this mag at Archiver's & was lucky enough to get the last two issues of this magazine. You can log onto: www.scrapbooktrendsmag.com to subscribe online. It is a little spendy: 14.95--but I think it's well worth the money. They're also offering a 1 yr. (6 issues) subscription for 34.95. I swear you will not be disappointed!!!

Linda, The price that you quoted is for scrapbooking trends, NOT paper trends. Paper Trends is the mag she is talking about. If you click on the tab with that name you will see the price quoted above. I don't scrapbook, so I plan to sunscribe to Paper Trends, not Scrapbooking Trends.
Looks like a very interesting publication....since I just decided to drop my Stamper's Sampler subscription (it has become wayyy to artsy and collagey for my taste), this looks like a good replacement. Thanks for sharing the info
I just picked up a copy feb/mar 2005 and love it. If you are tired of Stampers Sampler, check it out. One of the first cards I noticed used In Full Bloom. Great samples. I am subscribing today.
I just subscribed too. I absolutely love the scrapbook trend magazine, I hope the paper trends is just as nice. i have been getting scrapbook mags for years and have slowly not renewed the subscriptions. I am currently not getting any stamp mags (can you believe it?) so i thought I 'd give it a try. i also love stampington's mags. I am pondering a couple of them.
Hey Boss, when you dropped you Stampers Sampler subscription, were you given a credit? I still have a two year subscription. It seems to be such a waste. I just scan the pictures and put it away.
Irene,
Re; Stamper's Sampler subscription...when I said I was dropping it, I meant I wasn't renewing, so I can't really answer your question about getting some money back. That being said, I think it's the law that when you cancel a subscription they have to offer either money back for unsent issues or the offer of a replacement magazine subscription of comparable value.
Interesting that so many of us who used to love the publication now don't even want to peek at it :? I wonder if the people in charge of the magazine even care what the public want to see...
I wonder the same thing. In the "Letters to the Editor" section I read a few letters from customers saying that they hated the artsy and collage cards. The same person wrote back and they printed that letter too. But, they haven't made any changes in their samples. Oh well. I will write see what they will do for me. I still love the Take Ten Issue.
I was REALLY disappointed in the latest STamper's Sampler. Argh . . . it had been a favorite of mine for quite some time, but if they keep heading down this path, they'll lose me as a subscriber . . . I agree, it's getting more like Somerset and I dropped that one over a year ago. . .

Just want to say, I have never subscribed to so many magazines as I have since I started scrapping and stamping. This one does look pretty nice and a good subscription price given the single issue price!
Just wondering if anyone has purchased their special card idea book? Looks interesting too...
bi-monthly...6 issues...less than $6 an issue...just paid $5.99 for the b-day celebrations issue...so its not too bad...the regular rate ($44) would be a little steep though..still a few days left!!
Well, I have 3 issues of Paper Trends & each issue is at least 130 pages w/one advertisement in the middle of the issue & one or two at the end. So I think they consider each issue an idea book. Each issue comes out every two mos.. I just received my Feb/Mar issue yesterday    Holy cow!!! Way awesome!!!! This issue has a huge Love Books section (mini book albums). They do give full instructions for every single project. IMO I just can't enough of these!
You are on the right website. There is Scrapbook Trends mag & Paper Trends mag (which is actually called an idea book) & each can be ordered on the Scrapbook Trend website. The Paper Trends is now on special for 34.95 for 6 issues/year until Jan. 31.
