Default Paper bag book ?

I am making my 1st paper bag book and I am wondering.... what do you do with the bottom of the bag? Do I just leave it folded or do I remove it some how?

I left them as they were. I just covered them with paper and layered on top of them. I am in the process of finishing one for my mom as a brag book. they are really fun you will be hooked on them

I leave the bottoms as well, and just layer over them. Here's a tutorial if you need one:

I've also seen books where they place cardstock on the bag bottom, and make a 'page' that lifts so that something can be placed on the bag underneath. That was cool!

You can also fold the bottom up onto itself - so it looks like the other side, then cover both sides of the page. You can seal up between them with tape or cut a slit in the fold and use it as a hideaway pocket!

Have a specTACular day!

I cover the bag bottom with a coordinating paper, use adhesive at the top and bottom to create a pocket with it, embellish with ribbon along the edge where the bottom creates the pocket and then I use the pocket to place hidden journaling tag, or a tag with an additional photo or memento ( like the ticket for admission if your book is about a visit to a theme park, etc)
