Oh my goodness, School is out tomorrow and I have nothing made up for DD's favorite teachers and her bus drivers (old and new). Need help quick! Beaded tins maybe? Are those appropritate? DD's one teacher loves Hauls Fruit Breezers, would they fit in an altoid tin? OMG what to do, what to do! I'm panicing now.
Kymbers, post-it note books are really fast and always appreciated, as are beaded pens or sets of simple notecards. Especially the notecards -- I know my son's lady teachers always appreciated those. If you don't have the diecut stationery holders just a ribbon around the cards and envelopes looks pretty!
I'm a loser Mom, I'm not doing anything for her teacher. Just couldn't find the time. Maybe I'll just get a gift card and throw it in a hand made card.
Dawn - that's great! I did a gift card in a card for Chan's teacher. I spent weeks working on the group gift, and footed the bill for the 6x6 linen scrapbook, the cardstock, and the extra pages. Noone chipped in. Loser mom = the moms that did not return the 6x6 pages I sent to them to finish with their kids. I am still chapped about that. Anyway. . .
those tins that you make are perfect, Kymber! That will be a great gift! Make sure Kasie writes a sweet note, and you're set!
OMG I can't believe she's out tomorrow-my kids don't get out till June 16th! Can you imagine! We had 5 snow days to make up.
Anyway...I have decided to stick w/packs of cards for teachers this year. I have had past teachers say they like using them and that they can always use a notecards for thank you's to parents, etc. This is elementary school though, don't know if it would be diff in junior high
