paisley print background

i posted a question earlier about using chalk inks on the paisley background. i think i meant to ask about craft inks - several card ideas using this stamp have mentioned the richer color. so - does one apply craft ink with a brayer? and - if so - what precautions do you have to take? please if you could share some hints. i JUST discovered the whole brayer thing using classic ink pads: stupendous. thanks in advance!!!

I just use the craft ink like the regular. It is much inkier and gives really good coverage on the stamp. I like using the craft inks much better for the paisley stamp! Isn't it great?

I agree with dawn g. The nature of the craft inks allow them much better coverage on the background stamps. Just ink the paisley directly from the ink pad! You might want to put your paisley on your table rubber-side up and pat your craft pad on it. That way, you can see where it's inked!

I LOVE the paisley and love it EVEN MORE with craft ink!!! I just dab on the craft pad.... works great!

I brayered the craft ink on just like I do with classic ink. Then I wiped the craft ink of my brayer with a wet paper towel before cleaning like normal on the Stampin' Scrub. It doesn't even stain like darker classic inks can.

I used ColorBox chalk ink on mine. It gives the same rich look of craft and practically *no* drying time! The color chalk ink I used is non-SU on this one, but you get the idea... ;)
