I have seen lots of ideas for packaging smaller sets of cards but want something nice for about 20 cards. Making these for my grandmothers for Christmas so want something that will be nice storage and that can be decorated. I am thinking about doing the rectangle "lunch boxes" from PC but wanted to see if anyone has any other ideas. Pictures would be great too!! Thanks for your help!
at Micheals there are boxes with a latch for $4.99, they are by the wedding stuff and boxes that can be altered. I just picked up two of them, and it would easily fit 25-30 cards and envelopes. (they are white)
I just finished making 20 TY notes to give to my niece. I searched the gallery to find an answer to this last night and I think I'm going to use the "12x12 gift bag" although I'm going to have to make it larger, probably use more than 1 sheet.

I'm in the process of making one now for a silent auction. I am going to make 20-24 cards to go in it. I used a bare elements box (Sam). It is really nice size and comes with 6 dividers that can be decorated also. I can't remember where I got it though. I've had it on a shelf for a few months. I'm pretty sure I got it at Michael's or Hobby Lobby with a coupon though. Otherwise it would be a little expensive. I think it retails for around $15.
I picked up some CD mailer boxes from Michaels for about $1.50 each. You can decorate them with d.p., stamping and ribbon etc. They are a perfect fit for regular size cards with envelopes and they are 1 1/16" thick. I think they would hold 20.
They're not cheap ($12), but Creative Memories has a Power Sorting Box that I keep all of my ready made cards in. I haven't altered mine, but I'm sure that you could. This would be especially nice if you plan on making your grandmothers "refil packs". It's an easy way to keep all of my cards nice and organized.

Misty, These sound interesting. Where would I find these at Michaels and do you have a picture or UPC number for them?
Thanks,
I go to thrift stores and buy very inexpensive baskets (willow is my favorite) or previously used gift containers. I almost never pay more than about $4 and I have found some very nice items. Then I usually line it with something fabric (or shredded paper) and wrap the whole thing up in cellophane (dollar store) and tie it with a substantial ribbon. In my opinion, they look nice! Hope that gives you some inspiration!

Hey there,
I found these boxes where all the candy cardboard boxes, bags, cellophane(sp?) etc. is.
I'll try to upload the pictures UPS: 48492 04025
also check out website www.creativityinc.com
hmmm ... can't seem to attach the pictures right now ... I'm clicking on "manage attachments" and I get "error on page"?
What do I need to do to attach pictures from my computer???

I have a question if anyone knows: This part I highlighted in a previous post was NOT put there by me???? How would that happen? That website I've never heard of. I'm really confused!
