I hope this is helpful. I always see so many threads about organizing help. I love to help. Now, I know these things may not work for some of you but they work for me and many people that try them. I will update this thread as I post more things. Or let me know what else you want to see, and I will try to post it for you if it's not here. Yes, I am obsessed with organization. My clothes in my closet are even in ROYGBIV order.  Anyway, I truly hope this helps some of you! Blessings,
Thanks for sharing all your pictures and ideas. Your room looks great. Now if only I could finish something and then spend the time organizing!
It does take a lot of time to organize but in the end, it is SO worth it! I spent an ENTIRE day one time just reorganzing my patterned paper. I love how it is now, and I can find things easier. I don't spend days and days organizing. I decide to tackle one thing at a time. Then a month or so later, I will tackle something else. I just organize when I am in the mood. Don't do it all at once. It is too overwhelming for most. Take on thing at a time.

Paper is an issue! I have been getting better about filing it soon after I buy it, I have a small pile waiting to be filed. I will get off the computer and get it filed now!

You all are SO welcome! And there are drawers and cabinets that can be used in the same way I use my Scrap 'n Cube pieces. You don't have to have the exact things to organize like this.
This is fantastic...I feel like I spend more time organizing and reorganizing than scrapping and stamping! I am still having a hard time with patterned paper - I pick up way too many random pieces. I don't like to organize it by color but I don't think I have enough by one company to organize it that way...hmmm...
I am so unorganized and thank you for inspiring me!!!
Your work by the way is stunning!!!!!!! Would love to see more and more!!!!!!!! Never get tired of looking!!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much for sharing!!!!!!!!

Um. I don't understand what order your clothes are in
ROY G. BIV This is how many of us learned the order of color spectrum in science class Red orange yellow green blue indigo violet
I think I learned it in 5th grade or so. But don't worry, DH never heard of it until he met me!

Thanks everyone. I hope it is helpful for some of you!
And the paper rack can be found here. They have 5 left in stock. I got mine for $50 though from a store going out of business. It truly is an AMAZING paper rack! Love it!
And you can get the magnet folders from many places. Here are just a few to try:

Actually - I sort of figured it out - but the I for indigo threw me. Thanks for the clarification!
Okay, so I did a major overhaul!!! I redid my unmounted stamp storage too. The CD boxes were just too small for me! I hope this solution is helpful to you too!
Nice job!!! I actually love the way you decorated your scrap paper container! I have one of those in the closet and I think I might have to do this this weekend!

Wow! You are one organized gal! Thanks for sharing your tips. I'm actually working on my stamp room this weekend. Adding shelves and peg board to hang tools. Love the idea for Put it Back basket...definitely going to do that.
I just getting depressed now. My craft room is in total disarray. I know I need to spend a good day or two getting it in order, but I would rather make cards or hang out on SCS. I think I have to just block out 2 days and do it. I might even start this weekend. No - I'd rather make some cards. Maybe Monday - no, I have plans to meet a friend. Tuesday for sure. LOL

Patter, thanks for sharing your organizing tips! Your ideas are not only functional but really pretty. I love your scrap file!
BTW, I just subscribed to both of your blogs. I check a few blogs here and there but yours are the first ones I've subscribed to. You are so very talented! Your work is just beautiful. I first "met" you on a scrapbooking thread here on SCS. I asked for opinions regarding the best layout size for new scrappers because 12x12 was too intimidating. You recommended 9x9 and it's the perfect size! At the time, I didn't know that albums were available in that size. I am so glad you responded. I started checking your blogs and I love them.
Thank you so much for sharing all your great ideas and inspiration on SCS and in your blogs. I'm a big fan!

Organize! It makes SUCH a difference!! I get more cards done now that I am more organized and getting rid of *gasp* unused stuff. I know where things are and have more room to work in. Really worth the time, I promise!

Mary Ann, don't get depressed. Breathe! Really it does take a while but don't look at it like you need to block out two days. Right now what you want to organize:
Embellishments
Paper
Scrap paper
Unmounted Stamps, etc.
Then tackle ONE thing a week. It won't take long if you do one thing at a time. Then in a month or two, you will have a beautiful space. You will actually get more accomplished with it organized, and you will have fun! Really! And if you get stuck, come here and ask. We are all more than willing to help. Blessings!

Wow, Deborah, you are so VERY kind. Thank you for your nice words. You have made my day! Blessings to you!
Ooops, and edited to add that I am glad you love the 9x9 size! It is amazing isn't it?

My craft room is still in disarray! My DH and I took a long look at ScrapNCute, but we cannot afford it. So I am looking for a cube system that doesn't cost that much. DH is not a fan of chipboard furniture. Oh, dear...
i moved into a new house last May. i have finally gotten to the point where I can work on my craft room...one fo the reasons for this house. I have many of the I ris plastic boxes filled by theme. They were stacked on the floor around my dining room before. Is there anything to buy that they fit into? they are too heavy to put more than a couple stacked on the shelves I had put into the closet. they do not fit inside the Mike's cubes that I bought. I can put just paper in those cubes but for many thinks I like the "theme" concept. I'm looking for ideas. TIA
Wow! I thought I was organized and about to redo my studio, for a better flow. Then I saw your idea. I need to go back and study them and get some great ideas. Thanks for the organization. It will help, since I home school in the studio, my little dd is getting pushed out slowly...thus the need to reorganize, or she might be lost under one of my piles

What awesome ideas! I adore your paper scraps storage - beats my plastic basket of gallon sized baggies LOL. I was tickled to see your closet is organized by color. I do that too!
Patter, you are amazing!! Can you post a link to where we can see your whole room? Thanks for sharing so much with us.
Beth, thank you! You are too sweet! I don't have any current pictures of my room. I will see if I can do that soon and post them on my blog (with a link here). I think I may include an "index" link on my blog too since I can't update this main post. I have posted so many new things since this thread was started. Then as I add things, I can update the "index," and it will be easy for people to find links. I hope that makes sense.

I am so bummed the acrylic cases are no longer available. Does anyone know of an alternative...my unmounted stamps are killing my organization!!!
I am working on that now, and that will be posted on my blog soon too! I was REALLY bummed that the cases are no longer available too. I LOVED those things!!!!!!! It seems whenever we find something good, they always take it off of the market.

Yeah, I have to organinze everything. I love having my closet organized by color. So easy to find what I want each day! Though PJs always sound like a nice option to me! LOL!

I've gotten them in my local Joann's store when they have their storage stuff 50% off. They sell them with the iris boxes. I have two of them stacked. (I used the wheels with the bottom one, but not with the top.) I like the cart!

Hi Patter! I too am waiting to see what you come up with for unmounted stamp storage. I was looking into the Super Jewel Box King DVD Case. I thought they look like a nice alternative. Thanks so much for all your inspiration.
