My ds graduated from pre school on Friday and he wouldn't smile the whole time. He is always complaing how I never scrap him and I simply tell him that is because he never smiles for pictures. So after many attempts to get him to smile I said I will scrap you if you smile. Here is what I was getting before I said that and what I got after I said that.
Cute pictures, but of course I like the one where he is smiling. That's all it took from you mom was to tell him you would scrap him. He is adorable. Now do a page of him and post it for us to see.

what a cute story! you should scrap both of these pics and tell the story in the journaling. then you'll always have a reminder, and the proof if this ever comes up again. plus 30 years from now you can show his kids!
I will try and get it done tonight. I'm trying to get the guts to try 12x12 scraping. It is just very overwhelming to me but maybe these pictures will help.
Aw...that's too sweet! He must love his scrapbook!!

Yea, be sure to scrap him, not like that picture of the kid about to do a canon ball talking to him mom about how this pic has been on the camera for 6 months haha
sounds just like my girls - for the longest time one of my girls would NEVER participate in anything or want her picture taken - so I made sure i always got a picture of her clinging to DH or sitting an a corner with a pouty look on her face and would scrap that...so that way 20 years from now she doesn't look at the scrapbooks and ask - "well where was I"...

I agree 100%!! Scrap both and tell the story... Funny thing is I have a picture of my 7 yr old when she was about 3 and I took her to have her pictures done and she absolutley refused to even look at the camera!!! Finally , after about 30 minutes I told her I didn't care if she smiled or not, but I would give her a $1.00 to just look at the camera.. so she looked at the camera with the grumpiest face ever and they snapped the picture... whn I got the picture back I was so upset.. she looked so unhappy!! Then on closer examination, you could see the dollar bill crumpled up in her hand!! This has become one of my all-time favorite pictures! it showed her personality so well!!! Everytime someone sees it, they comment how she looked so grumpy and I point out the 1.00, tell the story and everyone gets a chuckle!!
Ok here it is. Dominik thinks it is the coolest thing he has ever seen. That is a pretty big compliment coming from a little boy who thinks he loves Spiderman and Star Wars.
