Oooh... that makes my brain hurt to even think about!!! A *single* stamp?! Not even a set?! I don't think I can do it! But if I had to... I'd probably choose my all time favorite Bella -- CosmoBella. She's pretty and fun, you can color her in an infinite number of ways or paper piece with her, and use her for all sorts of different occasions. But I'm really, really glad I DON'T have to do that!!!
When I started stamping all those years ago, it was about this time of year. I bought a funky heart and made Valentine's Day cards. I did lots of different things with it...

Well, if it were one set, I think an all holiday set, a little of everything. That is how I started - with SU - Year Round Fun II -
For one stamp only- probably a flower of some sort ~
it could be used for all occasions, birthday, aniversary, sympathy, love, etc...
My first stamp I bought back in 1982 was a Flamingo. I didn't start really stamping until 2000, so for 18 years I was ok with that one stamp. So if I had to go back to just one stamp, I'd go back to the Flamingo and start rehab because I'd go into a deep depression giving up all my other stamps.
Oh, why pick that one stamp - I love flamingos. They are so tacky .. and no, I'd don't own a collection I only have about 5 or six items, but I still just love the them.
My first stamp was a PSX bird bath. I still like it. I haven't used it in years, but I may just get it out and use it again. I still think it's nice. I have a bird bath in my front lawn, so it has meaning for me. I had the stamp before the bird bath. Eileen

Well, assuming I could use my computer to do all sayings, then I guess my one stamp would be... the tall tree in Lovely as a Tree. You can glitter it up for something fun. You can layer it to make a forest. And, you can make feminine as well as masculin cards with it. But, there are other things that would do this now - a single owl, a single dear, a single flower, etc.
