Default One Stamp

If you had to start from scratch and could only buy ONE stamp, what would it be and why?

Oooh... that makes my brain hurt to even think about!!! A *single* stamp?! Not even a set?! I don't think I can do it! But if I had to... I'd probably choose my all time favorite Bella -- CosmoBella. She's pretty and fun, you can color her in an infinite number of ways or paper piece with her, and use her for all sorts of different occasions. But I'm really, really glad I DON'T have to do that!!!

A "Thank You" stamp would be good if you could only purchase one stamp.

I think I'd go with the big flower from One of a Kind (One of a Kind by CraftyMerla at Splitcoaststampers. I love that flower, and it can be used a lot of different ways.

When I started stamping all those years ago, it was about this time of year. I bought a funky heart and made Valentine's Day cards. I did lots of different things with it...

Mine would also be a Bella but I would get either

billboardabella - it has sentiments with the stamp - or -

cruiseabella - since I would be able to "manufacture" on my computer my own whitty sentiments to match holidays, bdays, etc

I would buy a Penny Black stamp, either chit-chat or water lily skiing. I could use those for lots of occasions, I'd just write my own sentiments.

Well, if it were one set, I think an all holiday set, a little of everything. That is how I started - with SU - Year Round Fun II -
For one stamp only- probably a flower of some sort ~
it could be used for all occasions, birthday, aniversary, sympathy, love, etc...

That would be really hard! I think I'd pick Penny Black Flying Stars. It's so fun to color and works for just about any occasion.

TAC's Gerbera Daisy. It's gorgeous, versatile, and inexpensive.

If I had to pick just one stamp I would get a Bella stamp. I like them all so any one would work for me.

My first stamp I bought back in 1982 was a Flamingo. I didn't start really stamping until 2000, so for 18 years I was ok with that one stamp. So if I had to go back to just one stamp, I'd go back to the Flamingo and start rehab because I'd go into a deep depression giving up all my other stamps.

Oh, why pick that one stamp - I love flamingos. They are so tacky .. and no, I'd don't own a collection I only have about 5 or six items, but I still just love the them.

For me it would have to be someting birthday themed. I seem to make oodles of birthday cards. Probably something cute with a furry animal & balloons.

My first stamp was a PSX bird bath. I still like it. I haven't used it in years, but I may just get it out and use it again. I still think it's nice. I have a bird bath in my front lawn, so it has meaning for me. I had the stamp before the bird bath. Eileen

Well, assuming I could use my computer to do all sayings, then I guess my one stamp would be... the tall tree in Lovely as a Tree. You can glitter it up for something fun. You can layer it to make a forest. And, you can make feminine as well as masculin cards with it. But, there are other things that would do this now - a single owl, a single dear, a single flower, etc.

I'm very grateful I can own more than one stamp!

If I could only have one stamp, I think I would have to find another hobby!
