Too funny....I'm on here during the day at work. I call it "multi tasking" and "building internet search skills". Also tell people the only reason I am here is for the free internet and because of my rubbah habit. ;)

and then, I am always saying to DH "the girls on Splitcoast said this..."
So one night we went to a work party for him -informal on a coworker's deck, but there were these 2 high up executives there (they had on their 3 piece suits when they arrived). At the time I was a SAHM & was feeling quite out of place with some of these "power position" type people. So I mention this to DH & he says "Why didn't you just say to them, 'well, let me tell you what I heard on Splitcoast today!'

Okay, so you know you're on SCS a lot when...
Your boss walks up behind you and says "so, what's new on that stamping website?" without even batting an eyelash or noticing the O magazine sitting in front of me...
I love my job.
You ladies crack me up! TFS! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one! I told my dh yesterday that the only thing I will buy in August is for my stamper's ten club, but realized I really need some black cs, and hmmm, I just got my Jo-ann's flyer with the 40% off coupon, and hmmm...
True & then you get caught up in a thread & find your long lost sisters & forget all about going into the gallery! :mrgreen:

My dh knows all the time where I will be. He pops his head in the computer room and asks if I've found new cards or am I talking to one of the girls. Yep, that's what I'm doing.

So true, so true. I used to make cards before i joined SCS. Now, I just look at cards. It truly is addictive. Speaking of addictive, has anyone started SCS Anonymous?
I'm addicted too! The other night I couldn't sleep so I got up and looked through the gallery until I was tired. The next morning I told my hubby I couldn't sleep and he asked what I did. I said "I got up and surfed the net for a while". He said "You mean Splitcoaststampers, right?...that's not surfing the net." I couldn't believe he knew the name!
My DH was telling me a story about his boss the other day and said "Dont tell anybody about this - don't even tell those people on West Coast Stampers or whatever!"
I told him we weren't refurbishing motorcycles, we're talking stamps!

You know you're on SCS a lot when . . . you pull down the history drop-down on your internet browser and SPLITCOASTSTAMPERS is there more than your business sites!
Yeah, but if I'm not on my stamping site and we're not together somewhere else in the house, he is on his hang gliding website. Just make sure your husband has a hobby and then he won't mind.
Hi ladies. Splitcoaststampers is always the first on my history list! If I still had AOL, it would be right there at the top as an icon (my dh doesn't want it as the homepage - and why not???).
That's how all this stamping madness got started - he's in a salsa band and being the groupie from 11 pm - 2 am got really old, really fast. Now I stamp uninterrupted and get to bed earlier than him! Then when we wake up the next morning, he tells me about the salsa gig and I show him the cards I made!
