My family is going to Cedar Point and I told them we had to stop at Archivers while we were in Ohio as we don't have them in Rhode Island. So do you know if the one in North Olmsted or the one in Fairlawn is better, or are they the same? I know that our Michaels vary around here, but wasn't sure about Archivers. Anything I should look for? Thanks for your help.

I've only been to the Fairlawn one once but have been to the N.Olmsted one many times. They both seemed good. My friend said she prefers the Fairlawn one but I'm not sure why.
I haven't been to the one in N. Olmstead, but the one is Fairlawn is great, and just like the one in Raleigh, NC. If you do go to the one in Fairlawn, be sure to have lunch at Rockne's!

I've never been to the Fairlawn store, but I love the N.O. store!
Purpleflowers, Archivers is mostly scrappin' stuff, and some stamping--not a general crafts store like HL or AC Moore. You can get a feel for it online at http://www.archiversonline.com/ if you're interested. The picture of the store looks like a Panorama (several pictures meshed together), so it's not *quite* as big as it would seem from the picture, but it does actually look like that otherwise.
You can't buy online but they do show some of the things they carry, and there are some tips and ideas on their website.

I have been to both Fairlawn and North Olmsted and they are about the same - I didn't notice any difference in selection...of course there is so much there I don't know that I would. Whatever location they pick, I don't think they will be disappointed! I was just in Fairlawn last night for a stamping class...so fun!
I have been to the one in Fairlawn and the one in Columbus, they are both really nice, the one in Columbus seemed to have more stamps than the one in Fairlawn. Tons and tons of DP. Enjoy your trip!!
I'm another one who's been to Fairlawn & Columbus - didn't notice much difference between the two and love 'em both. Are you on their mailing list? They send out coupons every other month or so in their newsletter. Gotta love it when a 30% one comes! But usually the coupons are at least good for free cardstock - no purchase necessary!
Thanks ladies, I'm not sure which I will go to. We are leaving on Monday morning, so I don't have time to sign up for their coupons...darn. I'm kind of excited.

One of the best places to shop in Ohio is Hollo's Paper store in Brunswick Ohio. I get 100 envelopes for $4.00 to $4.50 depending on the type. Cardstock is $1.50 a pound for very nice quality. Also have scrapbook supplies, pens, Lasting Impressions stencils, books etc.
If you are going to be in this area and are driving, you can take back so much from Hollo's. Can't beat the prices on envies and paper, plus other little things. As for as Archivers, haven't been to the N O store, but most of the Archivers I have been in are about the same. Item turnover is constant. You may see it in one place one visit and the next visit, it's gone or moved. If you need more info or directions, EM me and I'll give you directions. Hollo's is easy to get to and down the road from them you can hit Hobby Lobby, Michaels and a great little town to just walk around little shops.
