For those of you who subscribe to Paper Crafts, have you received the October issue? If so, how long ago? I have seen them on newstands everywhere but have not received mine. Mine always seem to be very late getting to me but wondered if others had received them. I am in Virginia.
Me, too...just got mine a Monday...AND they keep sending me stuff to renew, saying this is my last chance, and I am good through D/J 06...i mean not a lot of time, but geesh..had me all freaked out that I wasn't even gonna get oct. and then I look at the label and it says d/j 06...what up??
Could you please let me know the status of my October 2005 issue? I still have not received it. This would be the second time that an issue has not been received from PaperCrafts.
NOW WHAT I RECEIVED FROM THEM:
A review of your account shows that the August 2005 issue is currently en route to you. You should receive the August 2005 issue on or before August 31, 2005. If we can be of any other assistance, please let us know.
Thank you for your patience,

Notice that they say AUGUST, I didn't say anything about August! Geez. If I don't receive it tomorrow, I will probably give them a call.
I also have been getting "notices" about renewal...nope, not me! I will buy them at the store instead!
I have a subscribed way back when the premier issue hit the stands and my current subscription doesn't expire until March 2009. Yes - that is a 9! (After I had renewed with some birthday money, my sister-in-law also had mailed them a gift renewal -- so now I have that long subscription!)
Living in Minnesota, I used to get them 3 to 5 days before the stores. But the last issue was the first time mine arrived two weeks after I saw it on the stores! And while I have seen October issue on the store shelf since the 19th, I am not really happy that my subscription issue still has not arrived.
Phone call netted only an apology and statement that subscription issues are sent out to arrive before the date the store shipments have as "release date". She also said that the company has no control to the process of delivery after they are sent out and perhaps the carrier "bumped" some shipments for other mail they felt took priority.

I do love the magazine though!

HOLY SMOKES!! A nine (9) year subscription!!! WoW!!
I do love the PC magazine, but just get frustrated when it doesn't come on time. I feel silly because I get soooo excited when I get a new stamping magazine in the mail and very sad when a subscription is late or doesn't come at all.
Thanks so much for all your replies. Think I'll wait through the long weekend and give them a call next week. Mine runs out in Jan and don't think I'll renew as I'm always tempted to go ahead and buy it anyway.

Hope you all have a wonderful Labor Day weekend!!

WEll I hate to say this being that i just moved to VA two weeks ago... but my issue already went to my address in GA and was forwarded up here on tuesday. Hopefully you will get it today.
I'm in England and I got mine last week! My last one I think - I've resisted their many, many pleas for me to renew. I also get Creating Keepsakes, which I think is the same company. When they missed me, I emailed them, they were very apologetic and sent another one out.
I just received an e-mail from PaperCrafts. I e-mailed them last night and this was their response:
We apologize that you missed your October 2005 issue and for any inconvenience it may have caused. We are sending you a replacement copy. You should receive it in 2-3 weeks.
Sincerely,

Yippee!!! This is the first time that they are "replacing" my copy, last time they just extended my subscription.

I work for a mag company, and believe it or not, there's a schedule for renewal notices. Our company does 4-5 notices, but a number of companies do many more. I subscribed to Reader's Digest and I got a renewal notice _before_ I got my first issue!
Well........I decided to go ahead and email them. The reply I got was that they would extend my subscription a month. So...looks like I'll have to buy a copy, but with gas at $3.25/gal I won't be making a special trip for it. Sure hope there are some left when I do get out.
I live in Hawaii and received mine yesterday. I didn't receive an issue several months ago and have decided not to renew. It's hard to see them on the newsstand and have to wait for my copy!! Guess I'm impatient....
