Couldn't resist posting this picture of my Cocker Spaniel, Lola who just got a hold of a bottle of Garden Green reinker! Fortunately its not craft ink so it came right off of her in the bath -- the carpet, that's another story. Hopefully with some more soap, water and elbow grease I can get rid of the 5 big splotches of green ink on the carpet!! JUST like having a baby again -- can't take your eyes off of them for a minute or leave anything within their reach!!!
You might try a product called Spot Shot on the rug. It comes in an aerosol can that's blue and orange. There have only been a couple of things it hasn't removed from carpet for me. Love the picture of the dog

How adorable! Good luck getting it out of the carpet. I've had really good luck with the oxi clean pod for bad stains. I use it along with a scrub brush (the one built in just isn't good enough for some stuff).
There must be something about GREEN that dogs love. My puppy got into a green sharpie marker... green EVERYWHERE.... he has some white fur...got a great green smile!!! And the carpet... we ended up ripping it up and putting in wood flooring.
I wrote up a cute little "technique tutorial" on my blog about the incident... HERE complete with pics! Hysterical!
Sorry... I have no advice for getting it out of your carpet... cute doggie though.

You can get Spot Shot at Wal-mart, with the other carpet cleaners. I love the stuff!! I have 2 indoor dogs (Boxer-8 & Viszla-7), a daughter-5 and a husband so I use a lot of Spot Shot, not as much as when the dogs and daughter were younger though!! I think your puppy just wanted to be stylish and needed some wild color in it's hair!! Cute pix!!
Well Lola's clean and my carpet is ALMOST clean thanks to Spot Shot (used on the carpet -- not the dog -- ha-ha!). For as hideously dark green as the spots were on the beige carpet -- I'm pretty amazed! I think it will take a few more treatments but that stuff IS amazing! And I have to agree -- Lola IS a cutie! Thanks again for the advice!!
