I have one card order to work on. I am also working on a paper pieced nativity quilt. It is an advent quilt (work on one section each day of advent) but I didn't have time before Christmas to work on it.

Unmounting stamps, making Easter cards for my first swap, getting notes ready for a Bible study class I teach, finishing "joy" cards, and making winter snowflake cards, birthday cards for 2008 for church and making cards for the presenters at our World Missions Conference in February.

I haven't decided what I want to start yet.
I know FOR SURE that I will not start Christmas cards this early. Trends change through-out the year and I don't want my cards to be yucky by this time in 2008.
I'll be reorganizing my craft room...i'd really like to move out of the basement and take over one of the extra rooms we have in the house...got to make room for all the new gadgets, the cricut, the mini sewing machine and a whole stocking full of new rubber romance stamps! I can't wait to play with them.
I just started stamping in the past couple of months to use up scraps......LOL......I think it would have been cheaper to get rid of the scraps............but that just seems soooooooooooo wrong! LOL
I'm also thinking about becoming a CTMH hobby demo.......
Christine
Never get rid of scraps!! They are much too important! ;)
Not sure what I will be working on, but it will involve my newly purchased Cuttlebug!

Hmmm...I need to make Thank You cards, clean up my work space, practise colouring with Prismacolor Pencils, design next year's Christmas cards, then clean up my work space again ;)
I've got a few thank you cards to make for my christmas presents, then birthday cards for my brother, mum and dad who are all within 2 weeks of each other, anniversary card for my bf for January 15th, then valentines cards, mother's day cards (over here it's at the beginning of March). I'm going to make a new display box to put all my cards in for when I take them to work as well following the Elf Mail boxes on the Craft TV Weekly site.
Then I've got about 20 invitations to make for a "panty and pantry" party for a lady at work for her dil to be (instead of a wedding shower it's a panty and pantry as you buy the bride to be something for her pantry or some nice new panties!! It's a South African tradition and the father of the groom is south african and the mother of the groom lived over there for 25 years and classes herself as south african too!)
And somewhere in between all of that I've got to find time to spend my christmas money on some lovely new stamping stuff!!
Now THAT is a fabulous idea!
Since I have already cleaned up the craft room, I am ready to start working on Valentine's cards.
I am going to try and be good on my early New Year's resolution - go my scrap drawers first - before cutting any paper or cardstock. (yeh right!)
My DD just applied to MANY colleges. I am working on thank you's for the teachers at the HS that wrote lovely recommendation letters for my DD and sent transcripts and such.
These folks work so hard, as the kids come in willy nilly, even after the dates they give as deadlines. And yet, they send the stuff out anyway...
Make some thank you cards for Christmas presents, make a few Valentines cards, my mom's birthday is in February, more family birthdays come in March, and then scrapbooking and painting the interior of my house (  ) in between all this.
But we'll see. I substitute for people at our school and I'm told that January and February can be brutal for people getting sick.
Oh, and as far as next year's Christmas cards are concerned, I will not start making them yet, but I do know what set I want to use and will buy it during Sale a bration or whatever it's called now. Unlike this year, when I still had no clue what to do Thanksgiving weekend.

Clean my stamp room, make birthday cards then start on Valentines cards/projects. I have fallen in love with SU's Berry Bliss DP and Always stamp set so will use that for my Valentine's cards. I was really impressed with all the nugget tins everyone did for Christmas so will give everyone in my family (about 10) a tin of nuggets covered in Berry Bliss.
Oh!! I didn't mention that I need to make Christmas Thank you cards as well!
Good thing Christmas got me in the stamping mode!
1-Plan my first order from the new catty!!!
2-Thank you cards for Christmas gifts.
3-Start scrapping again...it's been TOO long.
4-Start Valentine's goodies for DD's preschool buddies (when I finally mount my pre-order!)
I seriously need to clean my entire house! It's a holy mess.
After I finish my mom's birthday and parents' anniversary stuff (this week), and a few thank you cards, I need to get my supplies back into their usual place and organized again. Then I'll probably try to work ahead on birthday cards for the end of January and February, maybe a few Valentine's cards, and some other non-card projects such as altered clipboards, composition books, etc.
I need to get going on my general card stash, birthday, thank you, wedding, baby, etc. I'm also going to start making items for next year's craft fairs! I love hibernating in my craft room in the winter and working on small altered projects.

what to work on now??
How about you?
I will be working on Valentine's Day cards to sell at my step-mil's store. I am very excited and nervous about this adventure! Her shop is very busy and she told me she wants to put some out ASAP!! I better hurry since I havent made a single one yet
In priority order(subject to change)
1. Finish re-indexing stamps/tools in notebook
2.label every drawer so I can quickly find items
3. Make more altered tins--I think I found a new "love"
4. Make cards from PIF sets
5. Make cards for stock
6. Work on scrapbooks(four kids, not one has scrapbook---starting with youngest who just turned 20 and working my way up---have all the photos sorted and memorilbia filed--just need time)
7. Learn new techniques
8. Keep up with trends
9. Have fun stamping(ok- this goes to top)
10. Attend some stamp camps/workshops
11. Start Christmas cards by November 1 so can mail on T-day.
12. Keep stamp work area/room tidy( hahahahahaha);) ;) ;)

Well, this is a very good question. I didn't do much for Christmas this year but that's ok for this one.
Let's see:
1. Clean up craft space.
2. Thank you notes for Christmas gifts
3. January birthday (I think I only have one but I need to look)
4. Valentines - would be fun to do something for coworkers...maybe these: Peppermint Patty Baskets
Things I'd love to do but don't know if I'll have time:
1. Make some sort of mini-album/brag book for my cousin's husband for their January baby boy
2. Work on some of my to-be-altered items
3. Work on coloring/water coloring techniques
4. Will want to work on a mini-album for myself and my traveling companion for my Feb cruise when we get back.
Christmas for next year that I'd really, really like to have done before the middle of the year this year:
1. Advent calendar (one for me, maybe one for each niece)
2. Tags for my snack mix (bought the bags yesterday so I know what I need to match...I make 40)
3. Gift tags
4. Maybe Christmas cards...sort of depends on if I send the ones I bought for this year this week. Haven't done them yet so we'll have to see.
5. Gift card packaging
Other crafts:
1. Would love to do some beading sometime this year and see if I can make some items for gifts for next year.
2. Might get back to my scrapbooking but not really feeling the call right now.
All of this around getting my house on the market and keeping it tidy 'til it sells, a week each out of town for work and the cruise. Who knows! LOL It'll be nice to have this written down though for me to evaluate.
I want to make a supply of cards for occasions such as birthdays, thank you, baby, sympathy, thinking of you and card sets to give as gifts. Working on a few Christmas cards each month sounds like a good idea too.
This morning I made a set of 6 note cards. I think I'll give them to my sister for her birthday in a couple of months. I also made a bunch of brightly colored thinking of you and birthday cards.
Of course earlier this week I made the Christmas cards for the CC08 challenge for 3 months. New stamp set , had to play.
