Now that Christmas card making is over.........what will you be working on?
Ok I confess.......after the frenzy of trying and actually getting my Christmas card making done and out in the mail on time.........and last minute gift tags done and on the gifts.......
I just started stamping in the past couple of months to use up scraps......LOL......I think it would have been cheaper to get rid of the scraps............but that just seems soooooooooooo wrong! LOL
I'm also thinking about becoming a CTMH hobby demo.......
Well since Christmas is over and a New Year will begin. I will be working on some of my swaps that I signed up for here on SCS. and then I will be working on Valentines Cards and decorations for the house and for friends.
Reorganizing the craft room! Over the last year it's been taken over as the "don't know where to put this, dump it here" room. While all the ofChristmas stuff is still out I'm reorganizing things so I can reclaim it as my craft room again.
After that, OK really while that's going on ;), I'm working on swaps. I have two here coming up (recipe pocket and scripture cards) and two elsewhere. I also have a couple of birthday cards to make. So, I have plenty to do!

Me too! My craft room always becomes the junk room during the holidays since most of the stuff I buy is going to be used on or re-decorated by my crafting stuff, so everything just gets tossed in there. I end with with a tiny sliver of carpet to walk to my chair, then I work with a 8x8 square of desk - and my lap! hahahaha. I can't wait to get it all organized again!

I'm going to practice using my watercolor crayons. Then it's cards for my group and valentine cards for the granddaughters. Then Easter, and whatever comes thereafter.
I am going to practice different techniques - all the things I wanted to do when I forced myself to finish my Christmas cards. Scratch & Sniff is the first one I'll be doing and my kids are going to have fun with it, too!

For the past five years (since hubby died) I have only made valentines for my two grandchildren. Even though I have a few great "best friends," I just did not feel comfortable sending them a card that says, "I Love You."
On Monday, while surfing Splitcoast, one of the threads mentioned Biblicalstamps.com and I found a bunch of stamps that just say, "Happy Heart Day." That's cool! With that stamp, I can make Valentines for anyone.
Now!!!??? I just have to get the last of my Christmas cards into the mail -- better late than never, I hope.
I like the idea of trying new techniques. I bought a bottle of modge podge (finally!) about six weeks ago meaning to try some 3-D techniques and never got around to it during the hectic preparation for Christmas. So I want to try some of those cool altered notebooks, candles, post office boxes, all those neat 3-D things I see you gals post and have never been brave enough to try! Although my Target does not have the cute little pink mailboxes I've seen other posting. :( What is up with that? LOL.
Scrapbooking, scrapbooking, scrapbooking....did I mention that I would be scrapbooking my booty off!!! Maybe a few Valentine cards thrown in there for variety. Hopefully I will be hosting a Stamp-A-Stack in Sept., 2008 to get my Christmas cards done for next year (requested by my sister-in-law). Her card stash ran out this year.
On second thought-my son proposed to his girlfriend over the holiday-maybe I should be working on thank you's for the up coming shower/wedding gifts!! Possibly some engagement announcements (cute new sets in new catty) Yikes!!! My niece will also be getting married in March-more thank you notes to prepare to go along w/her gift. Where will the madness end-my demo is going to love me very much this year!!!!
Have a happy New Year and keep on stampin'!

Since I just finished up my organizing (new bookcase for Christmas) and unmounting I want to try new techniques also...that sounds like a good project for Winter. I also want to practice my watercoloring with reinkers and prismas with gamsol. Card wise I need plenty of birthday cards this Winter, Valentines and St Pat's cards. Sounds like a good way to get thru Winter.

I'll be making thank you cards for my daughter to send out for her wedding gifts. I made 80 Christmas cards and sent them out on time and made 80 wedding programs for her ceremony on the 22nd of this month. I hope to do some scrapbooking and make some Valentines.

Tomorrow is Dh's birthday. Then, Valentine's Day, Birthday, Baby shower for expectant DD. I received copics for Christmas, and want to use those so I can practice. Eileen

I need to make 100 baby announcements by the end of March and would also like to get my first born's scrapbook up to date before #2 comes. That's pretty ambitious though! We'll see... the scrapbook might get put off AGAIN.
First priority, New Years gifts for all my stamping buddies (no Xmas exchanging - too hectic), Valentine's projects and getting some scrapbooking done!

I will be working on all of the above.....1)clean up that messy craft room, 2) work on scrapbook pages that I have been procrastinating on for almost a year now, 3) do a few valentine cards, 4) start on next year's Christmas cards and 5) try to do more chanllenges. Sounds good anyway. linda

First on my plate is the thank you cards for Christmas gifts. Then, I'd like to tackle some scrapbooking that I've neglected. Valentine's Day is right around the corner, so I can plan for those cards. And then there's the SCS Challenges I have missed because of the holidays. Looks like there is plenty to stamp on!

I have quite a bit to get after, actually. I've got lots of design team stuff to do, our anniversary is New Year's Eve so I need to make a card for that, I'm almost out of Birthday cards and Thank You cards, I want to submit some more cards for publication (I actually got published in the latest Take Ten!), and I keep thinking I should work on my scrapbooks at least a little.
I am going to re-organize my craft space and get to work on my Design Team duties and make some new samples with the gazillion stamps I have received over the last two weeks.
Redoing my stamp room. My better half will be building me a new work table for my stamp room, I want it to have wheels so I can roll it into the hallway when I need it out of the way. Then I'm hoping he'll have time to build new paper storage for me before he goes back to work. As soon as I can get a small area cleared I'm going to start Valentines.
Definitely making thank you cards for all our wonderful Christmas gifts...both adult and kids. After that, I would like to plug away at the challenges so I can learn new things, test out new color combos and replenish my card stock. Can't wait!!!

So many projects....so little time.....uggg!!!!
I think I need a stamping break after pumping out 50 Christmas greeting cards, mounds of gift tags, 25 cookie bag toppers, 25 (set of 8 in each) assorted greeting card sets, Christmas cocktail party invites - 30, 15 New Years Eve party invites I made for a neighbour and 3 birthday cards for December birthdays......I'm pooped!!
I need a stamping break.
Who am I kidding.....I can't stay away.....I'll be in my stamping room tomorrow thinkin' *Now, what can I make* with the new stamps, paper and embellies I received for Christmas.....
Ahhh, the joy of it all

I will start making some Valentine Cards and my daughters birthday is in early January, so I need to make a birthday card for her and two of her friends are in January as well. I want to thank my other dd for cleaning up my stamping room. I too had an 8X8" square in which to stamp. Stamps here, glue and tape over there. I would put a stamp down and then not be able to find it 2 minutes later. Starting next years Christmas cards in January would be great too, but not sure if I can get right back into Christmas again.
