I need your help please. I have been asked to do some note cards for my boss and he has asked me to put his wife's full name on it instead of a monogram. Has anyone ever done this before and if so, do you have a picture you can share? I haven't seen anything like that before unless it was like stationary (maybe he is wanting a flat note card - I'll have to ask on that) and would love some ideas.
maybe a 3x3 card, scallop circle, regular circle to set on top of scallop circle and with her name printed on the circle, Text on a path would work from your pc. and you could put on the top arch from the desk of.
Bugga... that's really cute. The same layout with different colors would work too.
Janet... you might want to ask him if she would prefer layers and ribbon and flowers or a more business like design. If you know her personally, maybe you already know her tastes.

Thanks, Garnet. I've finished about 20 sets for Christmas gifts. I feel quite virtuous that I got them all done so early. Now on to my next project, which is tile coasters.

Here is one card of sets I've made. (more in my gallery)
I did this in Word, the hardest part was setting up the page, then I could change names at will. Made a few sets that way.
Have you considered letterpress? It seems to be "trendy"- I've done a little (sorry, no photos yet) using my Big Shot and the Lifestyle Crafts alphabets.

thank you all so much - I had a meeting with my boss and got more information from him. It looks like I'm going to be doing flat note cards, which will be great because I saw something on pinterest a while back where someone had embossed a sheet of cardstock and put the note card with their name on it on top of that. I'll have to post pictures once I get finished. I really appreciate all of your help and ideas - I have saved them in my folder for future gift ideas because I'm sure I'll be doing more in the future. I have the lifestyle letterpress but have not used it that much, but thanks for that suggestion because that wants me to pull it out and try it again. Thanks everyone.
