NO Free Shipping Club @ joann.com this year!! =(

I was making a few purchases at joann.com and was planning it carefully (3 $35 orders) so I could get into their Free Shipping Club again this year. They normally announce it around Feb or March but I thought I'd ask Customer Service if they will be offering it again this year and this is the reply I got!

"Dear Esther,

Unfortunately we will not be offering the Free Shipping Club for 2009. We will be offering Free Shipping more often as part of our regular, frequent, sales promotions . Our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

This is so sad! I loved having that cos you could use a coupon for discount and still get free shipping and my orders only had to be $10. Now it'll be one or the other and I'll have to make sure my order hits enough to get free shipping.. sigh...

They have codes now all the time though...free shipping on $35 right now:

So it's actually a better deal...no paying shipping on the first 3 $35 orders!

yup, i use a free shipping code for every order I've placed. but last year, after getting into the club I could place $10 orders, get free shipping and use a 50% coupon too.. oh well =)

I had thought about doing it last year, but every time I wanted to order something with a coupon, it was already on sale...LOL

Before I make a purchase at Joann.com (or most places online) I log into Big Crumbs. Through that website I can log into Joanns. After I make my purchase I get a percent back of what I spent there.

It has been helping me save a little here and there.
