I don't understand what this means???? What is a die cut and how does that pretain to how a catty would look???? Thanks. Carol
Die cut means that people won't have to cut out their stamps. The rubber is precut. The mini's will look the same. Just the stamps come ready to mount.

I thought they said that the products in the minis would no longer be making it into the big catalog. I know that some did for this new catalog but.....I must have read it wrong....

Yes, a limited amount of mini sets will make it into the big catalog.
SAB and Hostess sets will no longer make it into the big catalog.

This is one of the biggest misconceptions with demos!!! Only a few sets from the minis make it into the big catty, we don't know which but some do make it. Only SAB and Hostess sets will NEVER return
So, is it a matter of time before they all come completely mounted?? I kind of like having to mount them in a weird way.. makes me feel like I am part of the creative process, you know?

I don't think we're moving toward mounted...just completely die-cut. It's still a savings AND a selling point that people can mount it themselves...die-cut or trim-yourself.

Thinking the same thing. Perhaps I won't pay $15 to get all 3 of mine sharpened after all.
I'm thinking exactly the same thing Sharon, I have 3 pairs, and only one of them is still cutting real well. DH says it's time to stop buying if my scissors can't cut anymore....lol Silly man!!
"I'm thrilled with the news but it still makes me wonder what will happen when it's time for those mini sets to make it into the "regular" catty!"

My thoughts exactly- how can they keep them separate. And wouldn't that be a major waste of $$ on their part to make die-cuts for sets in the mini and then not use them on the ones that make the "big" catties?
BTW- It still means trimming on my part because they leave too much rubber on the stamps.....

Here's my theory, for what it's worth: I think they are going to eventually have them all die cut and that's why there were soooo many sets retired this year. I think the non-die-cut sets will probably be on the dormant list to keep them separate from the others. Notice I said I THINK. All speculation on my part...just me thinking again...uh oh!
