I JUST got French Script, so I am terribly sad about that retiring! I will most likely buy Balmy Breezes, Living Large, and Tu-Tu Terrific. I have been thinking about them for almost a year!

Definitely Flower Filled for me (love those boots) and possibly Natural Beauty. I was thinking about Lively Little Ones and Super Size Symbols, but I think I've ruled them out.

Roses in Winter, always loved but never bought, fishy friends and cheesecloth, which I hated when seeing it in the catty but everyone here changed my mind! Some are pretty new and they retiring already.

You all have such short lists - I have about ten things on my list and am trying to see how I can narrow it down - lol I guess because I don't have a ton of sets and am pretty new there are still tons I want!

All Natural
All Wrapped Up
Natural Beauty
Pines
french Script
Mod Alphabet
Supersize Symbols
Flitting By (Wheel)
Size it up (Wheel)
Everyday Blossoms (W)

Plus I still had things I wanted out of the mini - oh no!

time to start narrowing down the list!

I forgot I want Supersize Symbols too - if it only came with a bracket it would be the perfect set

Oh noooooooooo! There are over 30 sets on this list that I've been wanting for a long time. This is not good!!! Why oh why, did I let those great minis distract me? :( I would have bought some of them already otherwise. It's going to be really hard to narrow it down. I'm going to be hunting for used sets now, since I can't afford them all full-price. Boo hoo! :( Two page list - I'm still in shock! I want several wheels too. Ack! (I wish my demo sold her retired stuff) Yikes! With SO MUCH STUFF going, I can't wait to see the new catalog in two months.

My list is longer than I had hoped. Thank goodness we have 2 months to buy them. I doubt I will get them all due to $$$ so I am going to have to make some tough decisions.

Here's my list:
Pocket Fun
Roses in Winter
Seaside Sketches
Autumn Leaf Prints
On Gossamer Wings
Artifacts
Handle with Care

There are a few others I was interested in but I will just have to watch for an opportunity to pick them up used later.

I've got 18 sets and 2 wheels that I want after first read through of the list. The sad reality is, that I will now have to negotiate a budget with dh, so there is no telling how many of those sets and wheels I'll end up actually getting. My personal guess is maybe 3 or 4 sets.

None on my list. The only 2 I would have bought if I did not have them already would be Flower Filled and RIW (still in total shock over that one!) So hurray, I have money for NEW stamps instead!

I think maybe 1 or 2....I can live without the rest, or get them here later.....plus there is always a new one to replace what I think I must have. I have had too many must haves that turned out to be a mistake later.

Only 2 for me - Web Wishes and Brighter Tomorrow. I must do a good job of buying everything my heart desires throughout the year.
I'm thinking of taking a trek out to my nearest stamp store (20 miles away :( ) to check out their Halloween and sympathy stamps. I only really like the web in Web Wishes.

I have a long list, too since I'm always distracted by the minis. I whittled it down to:

Roses in Winter
Petal Prints
Watercolor Garden
Do the Hula
In the Wild
and a few wheels

I really want a few more so maybe I can pick them up later in BST.

It's true that people will be selling their retired stuff, however, 99% of the people who list on B/S/T forum are asking full catalog price plus priority shipping:( ....I've learned my lesson that it's not really to my monetary advantage to buy other's used stuff when they aren't offering it at a discount - might as well buy it direct from SU and be done with it. JMHO.

I NEED Fairy-tale Wedding, Day-to-Day Flexible Phrases (I have all the other phrase sets, so I guess that it is only natural to complete the set, right? ;) ) AYC 3, and Beautiful Beach

I am simply stunned by the number of retiring sets. 222 sets are retiring, plus 45 wheels. Do you realize that only 130 sets plus 34 weels are actually staying?? They are retiring nearly double what they are keeping!! I am just shocked. I guess I will have to take a long, hard look at the list and figure out what I really must have.

To help those of you with long lists....sometimes I "think" I absolutely must have a set and then I get it and it's like "what was I thinking!?" Look at the galleries for the sets you like, and find out what kind of things look good with that set...you might be surprised how your mind will change.

My must haves are French Script (I'm always borrowing it from a friend, so now is the time to purchase) and Bubble Queen, (which I also borrow a lot).

If I didn't have Simply Circles, I would probably get it too. It is such a versatile set and makes quick and easy cards...plus it can be adapted to look manly. Always have trouble with manly cards.

I'm really glad they are getting rid of most of the Christmas Stamps. I've never been crazy about any of them. Hopefully it means they will come out with some I'll just love!

I honestly can't see anything that I HAVE to have. I kind of wanted Bubble Queen for a long time, as well as Do the Hula (Just cause I like the hula girl and I think I can make a cute ATC with that set)...but I don't know how much use I will get out of either of them.

I always mark everything I want, thus ending up with a loooooooong list. But I'm also going over that list again and again and again taking a good long look at those sets while deciding if I really want or need those sets. Eventually the list does get narrowed down to something a lot more reasonable.

I tend to stay away from the gallery when making my final decision, because I don't want to be swayed by what is "in". I much rather want sets which "speaks" to me and I know I'll use. Being "in" with the general crowd and being "in" with me is far from always the same.

I completely agree! If I order stamps, it will only be one or two - mainly because I can't afford any more than that. I think at this point I'll just be ordering more of the In Color paper and the re-inkers. I just love the In Colors and I use them a lot, so at least I know that I'm ordering something that I'll be using.

Being still new to SU, I have a ton that I want! 21 sets and 6 wheels! OMG how to choose!!!!! I think it comes to well over $600.00.
Then I think if they are retiring all of these sets, what are they going to come up with for the new catty - then I will want even more!!!!

DECISIONS DECISIONS!

I have to agree that the used prices often aren't discounted enough to make it worth waiting. I also make a list and go over it a million times questioning how I would really use this (like the sports sets are cool but my daughter is a junior and almost done with sports and my son would rather die than have me use them for anything for him! Lol!)

Let us not forget that Mother's Day is on the horizon and husbands, sons and daughters are always anxious for ideas!

Here's the ones I think I "need" to get: In Full Bloom, Best of Cluck, Bundle Up. These have been on my wish list for sometime. Others are on my wish list too but I'm not as excited about them anymore. Need to save some money for the new catty.

Being from Alaska I am stunned and know my demo will make a lot of money this month on Pines! It is a must have in this part of the country!! I have been eyeing Tassel Time and the Star Wheel. I am so happy I got I love Soccer and Hip Hip Hooray already. I can't believe they only made it one year!

I just finished going over "the list". There were only two sets in the current catty I've been thinking about, Peaceful Wishes & Artfully Asian. Fortunately neither is being retired. Wonder of wonders, nothing on the retired list is calling me!!! Well, there is one thing, Basket Full of Fun but that's a 3rd level hostess set so that won't happen. Maybe Ebay for that someday when they aren't $50+. Since they are retiring so many the new catty should be interesting.

Surprisingly I only have about 4 that are retiring. They are cross hatch, cheesecloth, brighter tomorrow and farmyard wheel, Ofcourse I am going to a camp tonight so my demo will probably use something from the list that I will decide I need.
