Okay. I'll admit it. When it comes to crafts, I am a follower not a leader. I have a hard time using something new until I have seen how other people use it. I really liked how last year's In Color worked together. (My favorite combo was Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze and Pacific Point.) But I really can't figure out how to put the new In Colors together.
So, if you are looking for a little love for your new In Color cards, and you done mind if I CASE you, please link them to this thread. I would love to see what you have done! Thanks in advance for inspiring me!

I don't have a card to share yet. My demo did send me some sample pieces but I have yet to play with them. I have been using those samples to try them next to each other in different combos and besides the combo Jana mentioned, I haven't come up with much. But then I don't really like any of the new colors yet. It usually takes a while of seeing them before I get hooked. You might try looking at the SU catty. They have those colors featured on a lot of cards. Some only using in-color combos and some with in-colors mixed with the regular colors.
I am just beginning to play around. I'll attach a card I just did for a demonstrator group swap. I like the way this one turned out and maybe it will inspire you a little bit. I also used a new set and new ribbon. You gotta just jump in! Thanksgiving with InColors by CAKath at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks, ladies, for showing me what you have come up with. You guys have some great ideas. I'm with you Liz and Susan that I haven't started to love the new In colors just yet. But it took me a while in the previous years, too. I did look at the samples in the catalog, but I still wanted some more ideas. Anybody else have a card they want to share?

I agree with Susan,...take a look at the catalog. IMHO, the In-Colors look best mixed with colors from the 4 regular groups.
My faves are on page 6: Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay, & what looks like Certainly Celery. (I sure miss the recipes in the catty!)
...and on page 182: Soft Suede, Bermuda Bay, and what looks like Old Olive.
The only CARD I've made with the new colors was a combinatin of old and new mixed together....Melon Mambo, Kiwi Kiss, & Basic Gray.
I'm just not as in love with the new colors as I was the last set. But I'm sure after seeing the gorgeous creations that others will make, I'll change my mind.
I don't buy all the In-Colors each time, just those I really like. I think it's a bit ridiculous to buy paper and ink that will be retired....but like I said, I'll do it anyway, if I really like them. Like Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze...I couldn't make enough with that combo...how I'll miss them!
Great Idea Trina. I too need to see the color combos in use before I feel that I know what to do with them. I plan to order some soon and then I will just have to play with them

Thanks Leisa
I did check them out in the catalog but I was hoping for some additional inspiration. When I get a new SU stamp set I always go to the gallery for ideas, but there isn't any one spot to go for cards made with the new In Colors.
I didn't really like last years In Colors at first, but the more I saw them used, the more I liked them. Now I am mourning their passing. That's not to say I won't use them, but they won't be in the Color Challenge and the demos won't use them for us, so I know I will be seeing them a lot less.
I love the card you did with the Melon Mambo and Kiwi Kiss, it was amazing. Thanks for posting it.
If anyone else has examples, I would love to see them!
Thanks for uploading your card Kim! I would love to see the card front that you made for the swap, too, if you have time to upload it. If off to visit your card!
I didn't get a picture, but I made some cards with Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise and Summer Sun and thought the colors looked really pretty together.
In my description, there is a link to a GORGEOUS card on a blog I
follow
When I click on your link, it says "address not found". Did you maybe type something wrong? I would love to see your card. I really like CAS, since I am a Newbie stamper.
Have a happy stamping day!
