Ok, I am curious. What is your ideal solution to cards with nudes in the gallery.
Please vote. (it's anonymous)
((I am sure that the SCS mods could come up with a great method for the third option.))

I guess they could require all projects with nudity to have nudity as a tag and then have some kind of option in your profile that would turn off those cards for you.
It would probably be easier to just look at the thumbnail and think "I don't want to see that one" and not look at it though. We are mostly adults here. And I really wouldn't care if the 7 year old saw the nude pictures on here....they are the human body not porn. There is nothing wrong with an image of the human body.
I voted! Nudety doesn't bother me as long as it is artistic. I grew up in Germany (moved here when I was 21) and there are statues and fountains of nude people everywhere. It's the human body, so "I personally" don't really see a problem with it.
Then again, I can't stand those frankenstein cards that were all over SCS. Some halloween stuff freaks me out and I'd rather have my kids come across a nude artistic card than some scary frankenstein cards. (Off topic, but some halloween costumes they sell makes me wonder what a world we live in - the human body is a big no no, but kids can be exposed to all those nasty costumes, not to mention toys)

I voted to allow all nudity.
I think we are all adults that can decide what's acceptable and not.
The "opt" option just seems like it would be a technical nightmare, this site is already free, I would never want to put more work on anyone (me included ;)).
I'm not voting on this one because I trust SCS to do what they think is best!
This is a privately owned site and they can "restrict" whatever they would like, the word "ban" has negative connotations and is inflammatory in its self, but they have the right to block anything they want to on here!!! (personally I've seen enough frogs... Just Kidding!!!) The only thing I hope they don't do is create a separate gallery. By creating another gallery they are, in essence, inviting more inappropriate images, imho. But that's up to them. I'll just vote with my mouse and not click on things I don't care for.
I'll look forward to this current situation dying down and let SCS get back to the sweet simple stamping social place that it is! I too ((heart)) SCS and want to thank all the mods for the difficult but important work they do to keep this place going. WE LOVE YOU GUYS!
Because the last nudity poll was NOT about nudity but rather about an alledged provocative image containing a swastika that a viewer misinterpreted because of her admitted ignorance, I am rather leery of another poll.
I enjoy the current policy that allows viewers to see all artwork.

Where do you get that? There was another thread about the swastika image. It may have LED to the nudity question, as those were in the same gallery. But I answered the other poll as it was written, not being aware of or taking into consideration what might have happened to cause the poll to be posted.

I think it would be best not to censure at all, however having an opt in area for people wouldn't be a bad idea either. Those who did not opt in would not have the images on their screen, those of us who opt in would be allowed to see what we want.
Thanks for putting this poll up : )

I prefer the opt-in option. Mostly because I refer other people to SCS all the time and I wouldn't want them to be offended. Also, because the gallery comes up automatically, there is no "choosing not to look" since it is already there. I, myself, would prefer none, but neither do I want to be censored. I trust the SCS mods not to allow anything graphic in an opt-in option.

I voted for option 3...I do not want to see the nudity so It will be nice to have that option...Those who want to view it should be able to make that choice as well. But not for me.
Blessings.
I didn't vote because you need a box for leave Splitcoast alone. I wasn't even aware that there was nudity on here until the other two rather volatile forums.
