If this is old news, please ignore.
I just discovered at my local Wal-mart-- 3 drawer- Sterilite Clear View 12x12 containers. The cost is about $9.00 for the 3-drawer storage unit. Construction is white and the drawers are clear. They are stackable.
Ok yet another reason I LOVE THIS SITE!!! Thanks for the heads up! I will be also checking them out...I needed something...the box I have now is just getting smaller it seems...or perhaps I just have too much 12x12??? No that can't be right...the box must be shrinking! LOL
These are great! I was going to buy the unit from The Container Store, which was $50 for 6 drawers (I think) and then read about these. I first picked up 3 sets and loved them so much I went back for 3 more sets! They are great for paper, by theme and also punches. I also made 2 drawers for tools. You will love them!
If anyone gets a chance can you post a pic of this container so I know what to look for ? I am usually dragging around a hubby and two children so you can imagine how a Wal Mart search would go over.... ;)
Thank you in advance.

I need to go back tonight to pick up stuff to go camping this weekend and there is another Walmart about 15 miles in the opposite direction so I might just see fit to go there!

I like to keep my SU! 12x12 paper in a stand up accordian file, but I thought the drawers would be nice for my 12x12 non SU! cardstock and paper. The drawers are almost clear, so I would be able to see the sorted colors through them.
My thoughts too Keri!! I use the metal racks now and lay my paper flat. But I am a BIG scrapper and have tons of 12x12! I have to get sets in full and one from every thing a company has.. like every pack of Basic Grey.. SEI.. and so on.
Anyway.. I would love to know about the metal 12x12 standing racks!
I have one called the Paper taker and I am outgrowing it! (portable storage)
If you want you paper out there is the one from Cropper Hopper that is like a magazine holder....
I am still trying to decide if I want to be portable or not!
OHHH saw something somewhere else where they used the 12x12 paper trays and stood them on their sides right next to each other on a shelf for standing paper! Thought that was neat but I dont have any 12 x 12 shelf space...

Don't you just hate those shrinking storage containers? Must be a conspiracy or something from the manufacturers to make us buy more containers.....that just has to stop. Who do we complain to?????

I am slowly building up my SU cardstock and have them in a rolling tub that holds hanging files.
I have 4 various types of boxes and a stand with non SU cardstock and loads of paper from scrapbooking etc.that I thought would just look more better if it was in the clear drawers. Then I could get rid of the old t.v. stand that my boxes are sitting on.
Plus it's just my "I gotta have that" disease.

You guys make me laugh. You also make me feel normal. I am a sucker for storage and for things that I think "I will find a use for it SOMEtime... so I might as well get it now!....just in case!"
Just went to Walmart and they had more 12X12 3 drawer storage boxes. I bought 3 more. Now I can get rid of the ugly T.V. stand I had my 12X12 stuff on that wouldn't fit anywhere else.

I have been to two different Walmart resently looking for something to store my 12x12 paper in. Does anybody have a picture so I know exactly what I'm looking for. My paper is getting all bent. I thought I had found an awesome find at Target the other day. It said the drawers were 12x16 but when I came home the paper bowed in the drawer. Back to my search I guess.
Here are the approximate dimensions:
14-1/2" W x 14" L x 10-5/8 H
Each drawer is approximately 2-1/2" deep.
The barcode is 0 73149 20938 2. It
says right on the sticker "Photo Safe" and "holds
12x12 Paper."
They supposedly stack really well. I only have one so I can't confirm that. I like that the drawers slide completely out very easily, such that you can get to a piece of CS at the bottom of the pile.
The only problem I have found with my 12X12 drawers(I bought 9 sets)are that I have filled them up and I can't see any empty space where all the stuff came from in the first place.

I have heard that some people have been having trouble finding the Sterilite drawers at Walmart. My demo says that she saw them today at Hobby Lobby for around $11. That's more expensive than the $8.94 Walmart sells theirs for, but it you can't find them at a Walmart near you, this might be another option.
