I'm in the Concord NH area. Don't like to drive long distances, so it would depend on where it would be held (....or I could prevail upon a family member to drive!).
I'd love to meet you all face to face. I think it would be a great time!

Jumping in from Manchester, NH....I'll go anywhere for stamping. Anyone been to the show at the Big E in June? How about the Manchester one that has been in Aug but is in Sept this year.

No, but we can rent a room and order pizza. Pizza, soda and stamps...who needs more?!
October is a pretty busy month for me as a demo, so I'll have to see on that one. But I do think fall is better than May since Providence Regionals is at the end of April. I forgot, not everyone here is a demo, so that may not impact many of you.

I was thinking that May or early June would be difficult to find a room large enough. It is a busy time for weddings, showers, christenings, proms, graduations.....
During June, July and August alot of people are away on vacation.
September people are trying to get back into the swing of school schedules...etc...
November and December there are Holidays.
January and February there is the chance of blizzards that could cancel an event.
So that leaves us with March, April, and October. Well We would have to wait for March of 2006. :?
April, is a bit too soon. And I am having major surgery in the begining. :( and like you said there is regionals at the end of April....
It will be hard to please everyone with regard to the best time. I say pick a date and go for it. I am a nonprofit professional and for years I have planned special events. No matter what date we chose, someone ALWAYS complained that we should have picked a different time, month, day of the week, etc. As I said, there is no pleasing everyone. The bottom line is you do your best and hope for the best.
Thanks for coming up with the idea. I'd be happy to help with the plannng.
Depending on the date..........I'm in! I live in Western Mass (eastern part but not eastern enough to be Central Mass). I'm excited to go to the RI seminar-it'll be my first!!!
Please let me know when and where and if I am able I will be there. Who is getting this together and will you keep track of all us that have answered here and keep us updated?
I would be coming from SE mass, anyone else interested in going from this area, maybe we could keep each other company and car pool?

I'm so bummed!!! We just moved to Tennessee after living in Groton, MA for seven years!!! I would have loved to have joined your group!
Groton!!!
You were my neighbor!! I live in Pepperell on the Groton/Townsend lines.
The best man at my wedding lives in Groton, MA!! Actually, I think it's West Groton... It's sooo cute over there!
When someone says "bump", what does that mean? Sorry I have no idea, I feel really dumb.
don't feel dumb! There are so many little things on here to understand! LOL!
when you see a bump on a thread that means that it has dissappeared off the homepage because the subject has died down. So by making the thread active again hopefully it will get back on the SCS homepage and more people will notice it. I know I don't often wander off the subjects of the homepage.
Hope that makes sense.
