Talking New 12x12 Storage

Has anyone posted about this yet? I haven't seen a thread about it.

I found a 3-drawer, 12x12 storage unit at Wal-Mart the other day. It's by Sterilite. The base is white. One unit had clear drawers, another unit had blue drawers. They are about $10.

Had to have one. Now I'm trying to convince my DH that I need ANOTHER one....

I have enough 12x12 paper to fill one -- but I think I need another one -- just in case. Don't you?

I bought one of these several months ago. I LOVE it! It's especially great for storing background papers, which don't store very well in the upright storage.

Oh, I wish we had Wal-Mart in Scotland! That sounds ideal for 12x12 storage, and what a great price.

I did a quick Google search & found the picture. This one is listed with Walgreens, but it's the exact same one I got from Walmart. I think Target might carry them also.

Don't mean to burst any bubbles......but I've had those for quite awhile and they were cool for a little bit, but then trying to get paper in and out, especially if they are full, is a pain. Plus trying not to jack up the corners in the process of getting them out is another thing. Don't get me wrong, I still have 3 sets, but I don't use the paper very often as I do the papers I have in the stand up 12x12 with separators, which give stability. I got the 12x12 standups with dividers from Mikes, they are by CropperHopper. Just something to think about and my $.02.

I personally love them! I have 4 of them and need more, I have too much 12 x 12 paper!!! I have the paper stacks in them (the season paper stack's from Joann's) and they fit perfectly. I've never had any problem with getting paper in or out of a drawer and each drawer can hold quite a bit of paper. I previously had my paper and cardstock in hanging folders and while I liked that for awhile, the paper & cs eventually bowed & curled and the corners would always get dinged and bent. I guess everyone's personal preference is different and we all learn something from each other and decide on our own. That's one of the great things about SCS, everyone shares and you come up with something that works for you!

Be careful what you wish for! I wish we had more mom-and-pops in the US.

I have the 8 1/2 by 11 size, but I have tooo much paper to store there. I use them for EP and glitter, brass templates etc. They are a nice height to just fit the jars.

They have something similar to this at JoAnns except it is black, holds 6 of them and wheels. It is pretty nice especially if you don't reference your 12x12 paper a lot. I can't find it on their website but I will keep looking. I got mine for around $30 with my 40% coupon. I love it so far!
