Thanks bound4london. If you haven't checked out the 30 Neighbor gifts at howdoesshe website...you really need to. That gal has a ton of great ideas and info from other people as well.

Fruit. We do gift bags of apples, oranges and pears that we get from this wonderful fruit market. We wash it all and then fill the bags with a nice colorful assortment. It's easy and it's not candy or cookies which is a nice alternative for those who can't have those types of snacks.

My daughter and I made "cookies in a jar" for teachers, friends, neighbors etc. Very economical, you don't have to bake, they do. You can see pictures in my gallery HERE
Pretty quick and easy, and if you have children fun for them to help, and learn measurements
