Default Need a verse for a grieving friend...

This is my friends first Christmas without her husband. He passed away last January at 42! Does anyone have a suitable verse for a "thinking of you" during the holidays card? I am thinking a traditional Christmas card may not be appropriate, or welcomed, this year. Thanks!

I like this one compliments of Wordsworth Stamps and no authors are credited on this first one:

"Christ has made of death a narrow starlit strip between the companionships of today and the reunions of tomorrow." I like this one and have received many comments from the grieving parties who are reminded of our hope (as Christians) of the resurrection of believers.

This one is a quote of Beethoven: "I shall hear in heaven." The message is one of complete healing in death and I think is extremely comforting to people whose loved ones have really suffered prior to their death.

There are many wonderful scriptures from the Bible that offer encouragement and comfort for those left behind. Good luck!
