I am making Christmas Cards for my manager and need some honest opinions from someone so I am asking that 5 people please look at my 2 Christmas pix that I just uploaded into my gallery and let me know what you think.
It has been quite a while since I have uploaded any new pix but really need some input as these will be her personal Christmas cards not for work.
I can only see the thumbnails, but from what I can see, I would be proud to give them and thrilled to receive them. If I didn't like them for real, I would not have commented!

I can't see them either but from the smaller images I have to say they are beautiful. I love how your created your framing. I would be thrilled to receive those and I would most definitely send them out.
Wow, they are beautiful. I like the taller one better. Only thing I would change is not so many brads on the tall one. I think "less is more" when it comes to embellishments, but that is just my personal taste. The cards are beautiful regardless!
By the way...very nice of you to make someone elses personal cards for them. Must be a lot of work. :-D
THey are wonderful!! They look like they took a lot of time to make. The recipiants will feel special. I actually cannot decide what one is better. I like them both. You could make both and send some to one group and the rest to the others. Thats what I do when I can't decide.
Wow! Those are beautiful! I personally prefer the vertical one a bit more- I think that for the horizontal one the snowflakes in the background aren't quite as formal as the rest of the card which for me detracts just the tiniest bit. I'd be happy to receive it though
I really like both cards. The paper layering and the colors are very pretty and the image is so soft and serene. Just beautiful. What stamp set is that?
Both the cards are eyecatching and I'm having a hard time deciding which I like better. Since you asked, here is my 2:
The vertical card is very nice with the oval frame, but the brads are a little much for my taste--maybe just on the smaller layer and the tag? For mailing purposes, will 10 brads (plus the "bumps" in the envelope) cost extra for postage? Love the embossing, though--great effect!
The horizontal card is nice, like the fewer number of brads, but maybe only use them on the tag? I think the green brads would be good here, as there are no other silver elements on the card. I like the snowflakes as well, but they do seem a little more casual that the rest of the card as pandagirl said. Snowflakes used on the vertical card are much more subtle and work well. DTP inking on both cards is a nice touch, too, and softens the edges--love it!
That being said, I think both cards are pretty and I like that you used non-traditional colors (for Christmas cards), as this will really make them stand out! I also like the idea meluvstampin had to make some of both to be sent out...
Good luck to you and happy stamping! Hope your manager goes ga-ga for your work and creativity!

I also like the tall one the best, they are both pretty and the embossing looks great on the trees.
I love the brads a lot but they are a pain sometimes to mail especially if your manager doesnt want to go through the trouble to put some type of insert in the front to protect the card/brads.
The only thing I would do differently is to make the card base layer be the blue color instead of white. I know most whites are lighter weight and all the layers may make the base layer flop over when opened.
