I LOVE LOVE LOVE the sherbet colored mini brads by making memories.... but I want to use the lime colored ones, like 30-50 of them on a series of cards for my next stamp class.
Where can I get these in single colors? I don't want to buy 3 multipacks and take ALL the green ones out!
try contacting the company and see what they say. I recently went to a HUGE stamping thing where they got a ton of white crayons from Crayola for the crayon resist technique. Better than buying a whole bunch and picking them out one by one.
Ok I know that these are not Making Memories, but this website has mini heart brads in Key Lime. They also have little circle brads in shamrock green and forest green. HTH

I bought some of her mini pastel brads - very pretty.
She does custom orders. She has a store on eBay named Beautiful Brads, but I would contact her personally at the above email address.

Well, if you can't get what you're looking for and are so inclined:
If you have lime embossing powder, just hold the brad by the prongs with your tweezers and heat with heat gun. While it's hot, dip it (just the head of the brad) into the jar of powder and the powder will melt to the brad and color it for you. You may have to quickly touch it up with the heat tool to melt any few grains that remained powdery? But most likely you won't. You may have to hold it for a few seconds to allow it to cool, or if you set it down to quickly it will smear if it's still hot. Some folks plunge them into cool water quickly and then set them down and move onto the next one?
I custom color my mini brads in this fashion, whenever there's a particular color I need or want a mass quantity of.
HTH,

ahhhhhh Emily, I C now that you are close to your sister its "whats mine is mine, and whats yours is also mine!" hehehehheeee I bet she's happy to have you close to share. (sorry did not mean to hijack the thread)
Yeah, except then she'll be telling me I have to buy them so that she can use them when she is at my house.....that's how I ended up buying Lovely as A Tree.....she stole it and mounted it and I haven't seen it since!
I agree with the concept of coloring your brads. I sand mine a little, then touch them to a craft or color box chalk pad. Heat them up with your heat gun and you then have a brad that coordinates with your paper. You need to heat them up pretty good in order for the color to stay on the brad.
This is similar to what Julie HRR said. You can also use which ever color craft pad matches your project. I use a sanding block to roughen up my brad, dip it in the craft pad til the brad is covered then dip it in the detail clear powder and heat it til the powder is smooth. It is a bit of work but at least if you are a demo you are sticking to all of our products.
For those of you that color your own brads...try dipping the brad in your VersaMark pad first, then in your chosen embossing powder. This will help the EP adhere without sanding and "extra" heating.

I don't know if you have a JoAnn etc near you, but in their house brand they sell them, too. They are usually much less than the MM so if you had to buy three packs, it might not be so bad. I think the quality is not as good.

Hey, Kat! I wondered if that would work! I hadn't tried it yet--usually just dip directly into my EP after heating it it up. I'm definitely going to give that a go! TFS!
And, TFS for the other gal that pretty much mentioned the same thing!
Cool beans!

I'm with all of the "color your own brads" posts. I buy SU! silver brads and color them whatever color I need for a project (including gold) by dipping them in my versamark then into the EP color of choice and you've got a beautiful little brad that perfectly coordinates with your papers. This also shows your attendees that there are more ways to use the heat tool, EP and versamark than just on paper. It makes all of these versatile tools even MORE versatile.

The new Chalk petalpoints dry on metal after heat setting. I haven't tried it yet on brads but it worked on a metal tin so I would think it would work.
